Hotel was a good night stay for the price. Not the cleanest of places but what would you expect for the price. However watch out for price hikes because the day we left the price doubled.

That it was pet friendly! Each time we left the room our room key card had to be re-coded. Staff was very nice. Due to the fact we were there for a family illness and needed to bring our pet that was so helpful! We were there mostly in the late evenings and noticed that the parking lots were well lite. Overall, our stay was fine. The only complaint would be that we had to have our key card re-coded each time we left the room.

We were very disappointed with the decor of our suite with respect to the aging furniture. The couch was very uncomfortable...sank into it when we sat down. Both dressers were very scratched up and should be replaced. The carpet in the dressing room had a huge stain and should either be cleaned or replaced. The bedroom was very comfortable and the bedding appears to be fairly new. We have traveled cross-country, over 9,400+ miles and we stayed in choice hotels. Most of them were very comfortable. This hotel located in Hilton Head Island, SC is not a good example. The quality was very poor. Unless updates occur we will not consider this inn the next time we visit Hilton Head Island..No, this hotel experience did not meet our standards.

We went during the busy 4th of July weekend. Check in was a little slow with only one employee at the desk, but he was very helpful. Hotel is average with clean carpet, comfortable beds and pillows and plenty of AC. There was ample parking and the hotel has a cozy feel with rocking chairs strategically placed around exterior doors (good for private cell calls if your'e travelling with family and kids). The pool looked good but we spent most of our time at Coligny Beach at the other end of the island. Be sure to take advantage of the complimentary bicycles that the resort offers on a first come first serve basis for two hour check outs. It looked like there are only three, but that's all we needed. Great for a ride to Folley Field Beach where you can ride on the beach. Continental breakfast was lacking. No waffles but they had a bowl of hard boiled eggs out. Would stay again. Nicer than I expected and as nice as a friend's hotel further down the island who paid more for their room.

I was leery about the hotel because it was so inexpensive but I could not afford much more. As it turns out the hotel and rooms were much nicer than I expected and the location was beautiful. I was also surprised to see a walking/biking trail that runs right in front of the hotel. If I had known the hotel was going to be this nice I would have tried to enjoy the area more.

Good location, with a quick jump to great areas. Room had an awful smoke smell to it. Staff was friendly when we checked in, but as soon as we set foot in the room, the smoke scent was overpowering. Went back to the front desk and found out they didn't have any other rooms available. The next morning, our bathroom light went out, and after calling to the front desk repeatedly without getting an answer, walked down to find the person watching TV. Told her of the issue, and went to the beach for the day, only to return 8 hours later and have the same issue. Called down again, this time getting an answer immediately, and they came right up to fix it. If you can get a non smoking room, it's worth staying here, but otherwise, I'd pay a little more to stay somewhere else.

this hotel is about 30 years old and doesnt deserve to carry the name Quality Inn. The front desk staff are rude and the place is an all around dump, something you might expect to see on the west side of Birmingham rather than the middle (and I mean Middle) of hilton head Island, theyve replaced the beds and the carpet recently, at least in the room we got stuck with, but the pool was covered with rust or something else that makes it black, has filth and leaves floating about in it and the hotel in general is simply old and run down. It is nowhere near the ocean or beach and is located instead in the middle to possibly the north end of the island. There is little I can say good except to say that it wasnt dirty so much as old and worn out.

The Quality inn in Hilton head SC was adequate. i like the size of the room. the king bed was comfortable but the sheets did not fit & kept slipping off. Close by are good places to walk a dog. it was quiet. the bathroom needs updating and tub/shower combo is small. two suites had mold in the bathroom, one suite the air conditioned was loud & did not work well, one suite was stinky like vomit, however i complained & i was moved to a different suite. the continental breakfast was included. The breakfast area was not kept clean or tidy. location is fine for WalMart shoppies. bikes are provided free and paths are everywhere. But, it is too far to bike to the beach. no hotel shuttle buses or reliable local bus on island and too big to walk or bike all over or to beach and taxi is expensive. do not think i would go back to that hotel.

Our remote control did not work, and I reported it to the front desk. When we left, it still was not fixed.

The Quality Inn, as a whole, was okay. It was close to eating establishments and places to shop. The motel counter people were not friendly. We would not stay at this motel again.

Great location. It's old and the rooms are outdated. Not too clean.

The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly. Cont. breakfast is average. The rooms a little ways away from office and breakfast area. This could be difficult for seniors or people with disablities to get back and forth.

Relatively convenient to location desired. Room looked tired; bathroom mirror had stains! Looks fine from outside and public areas. Rooms are adequate, concrete-block walls utilitarian. TV, bed were fine. Bathroom mirror soured the room's look; otherwise, bathroom was OK. Even though this is Hilton Head, seemed a bit pricey for what you get.

This hotel is clean and comfortable and the grounds are nice. The putting green does need some attention. There is good dining right next door and shopping is close by. We had a room on the first floor that was clean but the bathroom is very small.

The beds were real nice and had a lot of room in the room. Clean rooms. Ice machine and hair dryer did not work. The hotel was okay.

"Great location, clean rooms, and very reasonable rate. Only negative was the obnoxious time-share salesman who was ensconced in the motel lobby and who aggressively followed us ouside hawking his time-share plans. They need to get rid of this guy as he definitely has no place in this type resort motel. Other then that, this place is highly recommended."

The front staff was very nice and helpful. The room smelled terrible. We had so spray air freshener in it the whole time! This hotel is very good for a couple who is looking for a decent place to stay in a good location. The breakfast was just ok. The girls that work in the front was GREAT. They were knowledgeable and VERY friendly and helpful.
