Upon check in there was a sign the hot tub was broken. After checking things out the sauna and pool table were also broken. The bar and restrauant were closed until further notice. There wasn't a business center and the breakfast was far from good. There were cobwebs in the room in the corners and also in the windows.

The pool and putting green were great for the kids.

Friendly helpful desk operators. Atrium, pool, and hot tub areas are clean. and attractive. Suites are available also, just not listed on the ad. Be sure to phone and ask if pool is open, because it was closed while we were there but were not informed at the booking. The exercise room is small and the time we wanted to work out in the evening was not available because the guy who works as an assistant there, was watching some sports show in there instead of working, for several hours.

On june 30th, 2008, My daughters and I went to visit my Mother in N.C for my daughters 11th Birthday, so we could go out for dinner with a cake and Grandparents. Approximately 2:30pm I tried to ckeck in with my credit card for the three of us, they asked where we came from I said South carolina, she asked for my I.D them said to me, you CANNOT STAY HERE, I was speechless, I asked for the manager, she stated, "SHE" was the manager, I asked WHY? she stated because I use to live here within a 50 mile radius, I looked at her like this was a joke, cannied camera around? the manager said,"you have a north carolina drivers liscense and "WE DO NOT RENT TO LOCALS", I showed her mail I receive from our home in S.C and explained to her that we had to move for my husband's work over a year ago and will be moving back soon, but we traveled 2 hours to plan a get together with my parents and they told me 'NO WAY, YOU CANNOT STAY HERE IN THIS HOTEL, WE DO NOT RENT TO LOCALS UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES! MY DAUGHTERS AND I WERE SO UPSET AND THEY BOTH WALKED AWAY CRYING ON HER BIRTHDAY. MY MOTHER LOST HER HOUSE IN FORCLOSURE AND ONLY HAS A ONE ROOM APARTMENT WITH HER HUSBAND, SO WE HAD TO GO BACK HOME, TWO HOUR DRIVE!! QUALITY INN SHOULD NO BE ABLE TO GET AWAY WITH THIS!!!

The room was old, wore out, and very outdated. The check in staff was friendly, but the check out was slow, and the restaurant staff was horrible. The lobby area and pool area was beautiful, but thats where it ends. The rest of the hotel was poorly maintained, old, and outdated. Our room had wore out carpet, dented old metal doors, mix match ceramic tile in the bathroom, uncomfortable beds, 70's style bedding and furniture. Shame on them. Looks more like a place you would rent by the hour. No Joke! They have an on site restaurant ran by the hotel. We were givin vouchers for free breakfast with our stay. We got the kids the free breakfast, and my wife and I ordered off the menu. The kids food was not bad, but the food we paid for was terrible except for the eggs. Hash browns were crunchy like they were deheydrated and never reheydrated before being cooked. The ham steak was as thin as your skin, and was tough like shoe leather. I own a restaurant and I know thigs are not always pefect all the time, but in this case whoever served that food should be fired. Totally not edible whatsoever. When the waitress brought out our food she appologised in advance saying it was Slim Pickens. I made a comment to the cashier about the food quality, and she was very rude and told us Bye as if we werent welcome there anymore! As if we insulted them! I definately would not return there again, nor would I reccomend it to anyone, in fact it amazes me that quality inn allows them to carry the name, because I never in my life have seen a quality inn, in that condition.

Breakfast bar was good. Not clean, not attractive, old and dingy. We would not stay there again. It was dirty and old. But the staff was friendly and pool area was nice.

My recent experence with the Quality Inn and Suites in Hendersonville was lots of fun. It was rainy and cool. Couldn't do much outside, but was plenty to do inside. I enjoyed the Hot tub while the kids played arcade games and went swimming in the indoor pool. They have a huge pool. Also the kids and I played putt putt. We stayed for 2 days and each morning we had free breakfast. The breakfast buffet was plentiful. Although the hotel rooms may need some updating, the beds were very comfortable, the rooms were nice and clean. I was much happier with my stay this time. The staff very nice and the Manager was great in helping me with my future plans to visit the mountains. There is a new place nearby that I can take my kids sledding. I never knew this place existed. I will definately stay here again and plan to go bob sledding with the kids.

This is great hotel for the money. It is close to alot of area attractions but off of the main drag so it is also quiet. If you want to stay in and relax, they have a large clean indoor pool, a hot tub, sauna, a small aracde with pool tables and a putt-putt area. There is a bar next to the pool for. The restaurant style breakfast was a nice change from the usual stale doughnuts and boxes of cereal you get at most places. This hotel is also pet friendly which is not always easy to find. Not only would we stay here again but would highly recommend Quality Inn and Suites.

The free Hot Breakfast was served their way, take it or leave it. My sister-in-law is Jewish, hence no pork. She wanted the grits & eggs of the breakfast but not the sausage. When she asked if she could substitute the sausage with a fruit cup, she was told NO!!! In that tone also. The front desk was no help at all. When told that that she couldn't eat pork the answer was, 'NO SUBSTTUTIONS'. then my sister-in-law asked them if they were willing to lose all future business with her and the rest of the family over substituting a 50 cent fruitcup for sausage the answer was 'YES'. Now I'm just a country boy, loved the breakfast but couldn't understand the actions they took and the reactions of the front desk. The stay was nice, but not worth the dollars I was charged. Will not stay there again.

The arcade games, pool table, and air hockey was fun for all and the cost reasonable. The temperature of the heated pool was way too cool. Children got very chilly & had to get out. We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Our room was satisfactory. The beds were good but the pillows were uncomfortable. The hot breakfast each morning was good. They had scrambled eggs, make your own waffles, instant grits and oatmeal, bread, a variety of danishes, and a selection of cold cereal. Juices, milk and coffee to drink. We wish they would have had bacon or sausage to go with the rest of the meal. The pool would have been fantastic had it been a little warmer. Spa and sauna were out of order the entire time we were there. We had lots of fun in the gaming area because it rained two of the three days we were there so we did not go out except to eat lunch and dinner. There were lots of restaurants nearby and WalMart less than a mile from the hotel. We are thinking about another trip to Hendersonville in the summer and we will probably stay at the Quality Inn again.

Quality Inns are almost always good. This place is filthy! Dirt actual dirt in the room. BUGS crawling on us in bed. The smell; mold and musty, They try to cover it up by having the pool (which is in the lobby ) full of cholorine, the cholorine smell makes you eyes water. The management does not care! Left the next moring and checked into a different hotel.

The Quality Inn was anything but. We needed to check in 2 hours early to dress for a funeral and were told no. When we did check in we found the room to be musty with a large patch of mold on the ceiling. There were lots of minor repairs needed and patches of unmatched paint. The carpet didn't seem clean. There was a voucher for free breakfast in the motel's cafe. This turned out to be a very depressing looking room that almost looked temporary. There was absolutely no decor, just uncovered round tables in a blank space. There was no sign of a kitchen or wait staff. We left without eating. The atmosphere of the motel was dingy, dark, depressing and unclean. We were very relieved that we were staying only one night and would not have stayed there another.

Filthy rooms. Apathetic general manager. Dirty restaurant and uninterested surly servers. Only bright spot was front desk person X. Will not be back will not recommend to others.

The staff was great, very helpful. Breakfast wasn't that good. Pool was fun, but sauna & whirlpool was out of order.

I chose this hotel because Quality Inn's normally provide basic, but clean, fairly comfortable rooms at an affordable price. The beds had hair and dirt in them, and the room was horribly musty. The walls appeared to have smoke stains. The general manager does not seem to care about problems and avoids addressing them with customers. I will not stay again!

Location. They've put all of their money in the public spaces, rest is shabby.

It was quiet, clean and comfortable. The pool chlorine smell was way too much. Some may not like age of hotel. This was an older but well maintained hotel with indoor and outdoor corridor rooms. There was an indoor pool and free breakfast. It was comfortable and clean. Our room was quiet. The hotel was convenient to shopping, restaurants and gas stations. Perfect for visitor activities in Asheville and Hendersonville/Flat Rock, NC.

The front desk staff, but not the manager. Restaurant staff was great. Female manager was rude and argumentative. Rooms were old and shabby. The front desk was quick to change my room and the female manager was being curt with customers. She said at least five times that she was having a bad day and was totally unprofessional. I dealt with front desk who was helpful and friendly. The wait staff in the restaurant was great and did a great deal to offset the depressing decor. I do not think much has been done to this hotel in quite a few years. The only thing that was maintained well was the pool and spa. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

"We demanded our money back after checking in. Floors were dirty, stuff all over walls, dirt and toilet paper in bathtub, stuff poured in sink had not been cleaned, toilet seat nasty. I would not pay $29 for this room. Called General manager and he did not seem to care. "
