Quality Inn & Suites in Federal Way is in a great location, just a couple minute drive to any shopping or food that you may want. The pool/hot tub being open 24/7 is a great feature as well.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The continental breakfast was very good but always the same choices. Hotel was quiet. The directions suuplied by the hotel to different sight seeing places weren't always right. Staff was alwasy friendly and approachable. Only had to ask for towels to the pool once, did a good job of keeping things replenished. Did extra things like warm cookies for night time snack at the main desk about 1900. Water pressure and warm water always available. We were about 1/2 hr from Seattle, good for going to Mt. Ranier and the ocean. Directions to the hotel off from internet are not right, call the hotel for accurate directions as the enterance is on a side street.

Front desk was very nice. Breakfast was good; the breakfast room staff was very helpful and friendly. Having the option to not change the sheets or towels, if you wish not to, is a good ecological (and economical) move.

The clerk that checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was fine for this stay, but I found the price high for what we got.

We stayed here with the purpose of visiting Wild Waves. The hotel was close and convenient to our destination choice, as well as a quick trip to Seattle. The front staff person was so sweet! She was obviously a bit overworked, but very polite, professional, and funny. Our room was a double queen. The beds, I believe are older. A bit on the low side, but okay. The pool was the big hit with our kids and the hot tub was welcoming to my husband and I. The warm cookies in the evening were a nice touch too! We will stay here again.

We have stayed in many hotels, this is by far one of the best! We were impressed with the rooms they are very nice, they are clean and smell clean. The beds are so comfortable we were sorry to leave them behind. The breakfast was basic but my family found there were enough choices. The pool area was bright and clean, the water was nice and warm and the hot tub is very spacious. We will definately come back to this hotel on our next adventure!

I've spent a lot of time in hotels over the last thirty five years for my employment so as my focus has changed from work to retirement my needs in overnight accommodation has also changed. I now seek more bang for my buck , I demand quiet, clean and reasonably priced accommodation. I'm no longer looking for close to the airport, limo service , valet parking , conference rooms and great in house dining. Quite frankly I don't want to pay for over priced services I don't need anymore. I found that the Quality Inns and this one in particular meet my new criteria, clean courteous staff, quiet , comfortable surroundings that are well maintained and down right good value for the dollar. We have stayed at this location on two separate occasions this year , each stay was two nights duration. We will stay again when we are in the area since the location is ideally situated between Seattle and Tacoma.

Clean, quiet and friendly, helpful staff. Address & location was confusing. The address is a bit misleading. The staff was exceptionally helpful, quick to respond to our needs (extra towels) and the pool is open 24 hrs!! It wouldn't hurt to have a no small children after 9pm rule, so relaxing adults in the hot tub aren't subjected to the squealing. Breakfast was plentiful and full right to the end.

My family and I spent the night in a suite after a long day at Wild Waves Park. We found the room (a suite, as a regular room was not available) exceeded our expectations. There was a small kitchen with a large fridge and microwave. The bedroom had a king bed and was very comfortable. The living room had a fold out couch that was not as comfortable, but was fine with my light children. There were two TV's which was nice after a long day.The lobby had complimentary coffee at all times, and the staff were friendly and very helpful in deciding where to go for dinner as well as activities for the next day.The free breakfast also exceeded out expectations and included a waffle maker, hot and cold cereal, toast, bagels, fresh fruit, muffins, english muffins, boiled eggs, yogurt and more. For the price this hotel exceeded all expectations. The only downfall was that there was construction happening behind the hotel and the beep of trucks backing up woke me up before 7:00AM.

The rooms were clean and fine, but the hallways and other parts of the hotel had lots of stains on the carpets and just weren't very clean. That was all I had a problem with

Stayed overnight while on-route from Portland. The facilities were nice, but that's about it. Check-in was cumbersome; much of it was spent with two staff members teasing each other. (And making inappropriate remarks.) Was unable to get forthcoming information on location of room or best way to bags up or where to get a baggage cart. When we got to the room, we called room service. The nice man handling the order was confused on the method of payment. (Apparently they couldn't put it on our room tab for reasons they had trouble explaining.) He told us he had to make a special trip up to the room to get our credit card before they would start the order. (We couldn't give the info on the phone for some reason.) After waiting 30 minutes, we called again and they said they'd get the card "later." Another 45 minutes and we get the food order and had our credit card taken. Famished, we ate very little because the food was so poor. Even the chocolate cake was bad. We're accustomed to the low expectations of hotel room service food and thought it the worst we've experienced. The prices were pretty high for room service standards on top of that.In the morning, we found staff to be a little more helpful, even giving us mostly competent directions. I would avoid this hotel in the future.

Our stay at Quality Inn and Suites in Federal Way couldn't have been better. The room was very clean and good-sized, the hotel staff were friendly and very accomodating, and we felt very safe where the hotel was located. The hotel is just minutes from countless shopping venues, restaurants, and it is just a short drive to the Puget Sound. We would definitely stay here again.

Accommodations were good for the price. Location - hotel is in the middle of a tract and traffic in the area is horrible. The hotel was difficult to find in that it is not on the road, but set back - you have to go in through a Taco Bell parking lot to find it. Once there, the service was very good. Efficient check-in, no problems with getting the room. Ask for a room overlooking the parking lot (front of hotel) as the view from the other side is of a bunch of industrial buildings bordered by barbed wire. Pool was clean, but the water was about 100 - 110 degrees F. Fun for a while, but not as refreshing as it should have been. I had to get out after a while because I was overheating. Sort of like trying to swim in a huge hot tub. Lots of food and shopping in the area - can see some of it from the hotel, but I don't think you would want to walk it. The worst thing was the traffic in the immediate area. The signals are not synchronized, so I had to sit through two or three light changes at two different intersections. Very frustrating. The hotel facilities and service were great value, but the area was not so good.

We drove from Alberta, Canada. We were very happy with the customer service at this hotel, very friendly and willing to give you any information needed! The pool was open 24 hours so with having three children they really enjoyed a swim before bed! The breakfast was amazing always stocked with food, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, cereal, make your own waffles a lot to choose from. The rooms were very clean - only down was the beds were a little to soft for us. Would book again.

It space available on Christmas day. From the desk clerk who was not friendly, to the dirty floors and unkempt feeling about the whole place. Creepy. It was excellent. Clean. Friendly staff. Room was wonderful with all the amenities. Then we enter the darkness of this "Un quality Inn" which had the same rating on line. The desk clerk made no eye contact. No pleasant greeting, in fact she was curt and rude in response to questions. She didn't even give us directions to our room. The carpeted floors were not clean. Both dirt and debris at every level--a good vacuuming was needed. The room was aged and not well kept. In fact, there was what appeared to be a blob of some kind of clear personal lubricant still in the sink from.

I allowed dogs. Access to back entrance required a long walk up a wheelchair ramp vs. stairs as a quicker option. Adequate for our needs at the time.

Very quiet. Entrance hard to find, ants in my bathroom, stain on rug. I would go here again if I had something to do nearby. Very convenient to shopping and water part. Entrance is very hard to find but looks like that will change soon. Great bed, staff very nice.
