Clean, friendly staff and good breakfast. Next to a bar where the patrons hang outside the rooms and playing rap music. The hotel was excellent.

The front lobby and kitchen area was very clean, the desk clerk was helpful, the smoking room was not as clean as I expected. There were cobwebs in the bathroom behind the door, and the baseboards were not clean, the lamp shade was broken with a burn in it. The air-conditioner was not working. When the room was cleaned the coffee was not replaced. We stayed for two days. The exercise equipment was not working. The vending machines were not working properly, it took money and did not give product. The desk clerk gave us our money back. There were fights in the parking lot.

this hotel was clean, friendly service and had a nice continental breakfast. The indoor pool was on the chilly side and had to much cholrine in it. The only thing about the room that needs improvement is an exhaust fan in the bathroom. When you took your shower, you had to open the door so the humidity would desipate. It's ironic that we stayed at this hotel last year and got the exact room we were in last year! I've never had that happen before. Good value for a family vacation.

Our room was extremely noisey. We could hear the water running through the pipes constantly. The room was adjacent to the maids closet so early every morning we heard the banging around and talking of the maintenance staff. The room itself had a crack in the drywall from ceiling to floor and the vanity was cracked. There was a musty odor.

Cleanliness. No stopper in sink. Much nicer than the 2 stargood location on major highway and felt safe as two women traveling.

Their layout of long hallways left us confused and away from everything. Only 2 ice machines, kids running down hallways, the pool was small & constantly crowded. Chair in room was broken. Staff hardly spoke english. What a waste, this was not the relaxing weekend we hoped for. Don't expect much from this hotel.

Because I had business downtown Des Moines, it was in a good location to hop right back on the interstate and avoid a lot of the traffic. It was nice and warm and clean. I had a great night's sleep. The pool area needs a lot of work but if you're not there for that (which I wasn't) it's a great stay.

Our stay here was AWFUL! The room smelled bad, the bottom of the tub was gray and slightly slimy. And to ice the AWFUL cake, when we got into bed, it was SOAKED WITH URINE (yes, it is completely true). We asked the front desk for clean bedding, which they happily obliged in giving us. We had to flip the mattress and put on the clean bedding ourselves because our kids were sleeping in the other bed and we didn't feel like moving them to a (hopefully) clean room. And the management felt that our urine soaked bed was worth a 25% discount -- about 75% less than I felt it was worth. We are VERY unhappy and will never stay at this hotel again!

we were very dissatified that the pool area was not maintaned very well and the pool was very cold. We could not even enjoyed a swim because of water not being heated.The room was not to bad. The bed was a little uncomfortable and no tv guide for tv programs. The staff was very nice and the location was down the road from the mall.

The room was nothing fancy and the bathroom was a bit dirty, but not horrible. Hallways were dirty and stinky. Lots of shady people in the very full breakfast room. Worth * more to stay in nicer place!

We found the room very nice, the beds were great and we got two very good nights of rest. We enjoyed the breakfast food, as this helped us get on our way. All in all, we found the room very nice, clean and comfortable. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, and found it to meet all of our needs, as far as comfort and ease off the freeway.

Friendly staff and great breakfast! The fitness room does not allow sound on the TV and the closed caption didn't work. This hotel is clean, servicable, the staff went overboard to be friendly. For the price, it is a great value.

Manager was rude and snotty - never been treated so rudely. Room was smelly and gross. Bags of garbage all over. Only good thing was they refunded our money and we stayed at Holiday Inn across the street.
