This hotel is only a couple of blocks from the Space Needle, so the location is fantastic! However, there is little parking and no where to park if their lot fills up. Also, if you are driving, it is extremely hard to leave your parking spot as cars tend to park anywhere they can fit. We also spotted a large area of broken window glass which indicates someone's car was broken into the night we stayed. A bit scary...don't leave any valuables in your car. The room we stayed in was very nice, well kept and the beds were comfortable. Affordable price as well for the location. Beware, there aren't any places to eat within walking distance except a McDonald's. They do have a great breakfast, though.

Handy location, very friendly staff, free parking, excellent continental breakfast Divey decor, carpet stains, bath stains, noisy, thin walls, right on Aurora Ave. Convenient, safe location, friendly staff. Newly remodeled in lobby area only. Noisy location. Quality Inn by Seatac is nicer. There was a print of the hotel in the lobby when it was The Tropics Motel in the 50's and I would have rather stayed there in it's original condition!

Hot Tub was broken. Parking lot small like the rooms. Stay was ok.

Worst hotel ever: loud (right next to highway), dirty & small rooms (we even couldn't fit in a playpen) . Save your money and go somewhere else!!!

This was a terrible experiece for us. The first room was to small for 2 people with only one chair that you couldn't get to. In the second room they gave us 2 of the 3 lamps didn't work. The whole place from the hall carpets to the plug ins in the rooms need to be upgraded badly. It had the smell of trying to cover something up We gave up and came home..

Stay was ok, we forgot something in the room. I had to call 4 times in a week to get the statys of the item. The house keeping manager was supposed to call back, but i never got any call.

Price. Inexperienced and overworked staff. Minimal service, even for the price.

We stayed here for two nights and found plenty to like. There was a pool (and hot tub and sauna). Also, it was within walking distance of most of downtown Seattle (including an event at the Westin hotel). Tip: buses are free during the day in the downtown free zone, which extends almost to this hotel (a block or two away). The one downside we saw was that the Quality Inn shuttle is only for medical use, so it couldn't be used just to go to the Pier for the Victoria Clipper, for instance.

about 3 1/2 years ago we stayed at this very hotel with our same friends..everything was in okay condition still is under constuction as it was 3 years ago..that was not the problem...the staff was okay nice but not to polite to some guest we encountered alot of yelling from the staff to guest, in which i believe it was very unprofessional of them.. but anyways on our stay my self and my 2 other friends who booked this rooms req rooms next to each other.. as requested many times over the phone and double checked with front desk they guarrented us room next to each other.. once we got their no rooms where avail... advised that we had travel over 29 hopurs and we where tiered if they had one room for us we will wait for the others..rooms never became avail... we req a rollaway bed once we rec the roll a bed 5 hours later we noticed it had bugs lots of bugs we where itching all nite...we contacted front desk and they said that no rooms where avail.. they couldn't help!!!!!!!!this was the worst vacation myself and freinds had in seattle.

older, refurbished hotel that the staff tries really hard. Best 'free breakfast' that I have ever experienced. Not too impressive to look at at first, but really very nice.

Located centrally for easy access to area attractions. Phone didn't work; water dripped from ceiling near bed. Convenient location but "quality" is hardly the right adjective to describe this decaying hotel.

The location was perfect for us. We could walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The kids loved the pool and the breakfast was the best I've ever had at a motel. It's located on a busy street but there was plenty of parking. It is old but they were doing some remoldeling while we were there. The elevator was kind of scary and slow. But you can't beat it for the price.

The room and bathroom are clean. and the the bed is large and the room is big too. TV with movies. The motel is very close to many favoriate restaurants and malls, it saves a lot of time try to find out where it is.

Extremely conveniently located near Space Needle. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our hotel room was on the 4th floor. Elevator was extremely slow, even a staff member commented on that.

The hotel was undergoing renovation at time of our stay. The free breakfast was excellent with a lot of food and good seating. Located near the Space Needle, the neighborhood seemed to be changing. Secure parking for car. Staff recommended parking in the locked parking garage (can only be opened with a guest card) and going directly to room. Good internet service.

No heat in hallways or elevators. It took 2 hours to warm room once I turned on wall heater.

The best feature of this hotel is its location. It's within walking distance to the Seattle Center and close to other downtown attractions, but it's not easy to get to because it's on a boulevard criss-crossed with one-way streets. Although there is parking, the lot was completely full when we arrived and we had to leave the vehicle in an alley overnight. When I complained that there should be adequate parking for the number of guests, I was curtly told by the front-desk person that it's first-come, first-served. Also, the room was very small. It was OK for one night, but I wouldn't spend my entire vacation there.

Quality Inn & Suites was a great place for price and location. The girl at the desk when we checked in was great. It was close to everything but not in the noise of downtown. The beds in the room were very confortable I slept great. It even had a nice indoor pool.

The rooms were extremely tiny not to mention the bathroom. It was physically impossible for two people to be in the bathroom at once and you couldn't hardly use the toilet without touching the sink. When we first got into the room, it was freezing cold and after leaving for dinner with the wall heater on, we came back to a lukewarm room. That's when we noticed the space heater next to the dresser. Apparently, you are expected to endanger your safety for comfort. The Jacuzzi was out of order, and they turn all but the main elevators off between the hours of 6 pm and 6 am so you have to walk the full distance of the parking lot and hotel if you want access. The doorways to the stairs are also locked and apparently for serious emergencies only as they are being regularly used for storage. The noise of the construction next door was also amazingly annoying and the traffic was audible at all hours. Overall, the FULL breakfast (make it yourself waffles, cold cereal, coffee, juice, toast and one style of egg) was the best feature and that's not saying much. I would never recommend this hotel or stay there again.

We were having a bit of trouble finding the hotel but the front desk attendant stayed with us on the phone until we found it. They allowed us to check-in early and even invited us to enjoy the continental breakfast rather than having to find a restaurant. The staff was very friendly and accomidating.
