Poor choice of hotels and very poor advertising. Website talks about pool and the pool is not in service as of July 1, 2009. One front desk person said it was going to open in two days, and the other said it would not open this year, as there was an issue with pool safety. Hotel says it is near lots of restaurants, and it actually is near the Waffle House, and that is about it. We ended up walking to a Holiday Inn in order to eat without driving. Hotels in that area says it is East Biltmore, and if that area is east Biltmore, then the entire city of Asheville can say it is near the Biltmore. I guess it is in the same area code. Complained to hotel staff and they blamed Orbitz and said they could do nothing about it. Would not recommend to any bikers passing through.

Room was nice, bed was comfortable, location was ideal for access to downtown Asheville as well as Black Mountain. The parking lot seems to not have enough spaces for guests. Not enough lighting in room.

The Quality Inn surpassed my expectations. The room was very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The location was convenient and all points of interest were easily accessible. We were impressed with the breakfast provided and the warm freshly baked cookies each afternoon! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

This hotel made access to the Biltmore easy. It was also close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Folk Art Center.

It was just fine given the price and location. The breakfast left something to be desired (We like healthy - there was no fruit, yogurt and only sugar-rich cereal (no fiber).

It was just as I had wanted, Clean, easy access, great breakfast! Sheets could have been better maintained, cover needed replacing. No frills, no spills, no fuss. Clean, affordable, reasonable, with a great hot breakfast bar. Courteous staff and effortless check in and out, thanks Priceline.

The hotel (which is actually a motel) is pet friendly. The only problem is that there isn't much grassy areas in which to take your dog (if that is a requirement for your specific dog). The breakfast is consistant and very good. They have hot eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. They also have a waffle maker and bagles The room initially looked clean. But upon closer inspection, carpeted floor was damp and was very wet in a particular spot where I suspect the carpet cleaner/shampooer would have sat after the carpet was cleaned. Unaware the carpet was damp, our white socks were black after walking around the room. I also knelt down on the floor (to go through my suitcase) and when I stood up, I realized that I had two black wet spots on my jeans where I was kneeling. Bad mistake on my part. After a few trips into the bathroom, the floor became very dirty from tracking the residual soapy carpet cleaning solution onto the tile. Tip: Always bring a pair of flip-flops just in case. The second gripe is the parking (particularly on the West end of the hotel). Parking was very tight and awkward (even for a small vehicle). If you are towing or have a trailer, you may have a problem finding suitable parking. Overall, the staff was very courteous and helpful (except for the first night when we checked in. The girl behind the counter was not in uniform and seemed indifferent to questions my wife would ask).

The worst part was not all of the lights worked. If that's the worst thing I consider the trip a success. Staff was more than friendly, and rooms were more than comfortable. Located only a few minutes from an abundance of resturants and other eateries. I would most definitely consider going back to the Quality Inn for another stay.

The Quality Inn and Suites, Biltmore East, Ashville, NC is conveniently located to tourist attractions, downtown Ashville and lots of good restaurants within a short commute. The bathroom is separate from the sleeping area and the room was really a smoke free room. It was quiet and the room I stayed in had internet access. There is a Waffle House within walking distance, in case folks do not want the free breakfast snacks provided or do not want to drive too far before they start the day touring I would stay there again and I would recommend this place to others.

The walls were very thing, to the point that a conversation could be heard clearly from one room to the next. We had to move roomsat 4 am, because the people in the room next door were talking and laughing. Normally not a problem, but it was like they were in the room with you. Do not stay here!

Arrived and needed a luggage rack, because bending bothers my back, but none was in the closet. Asked the front desk for one but they said that they could not take one from another room, but would change our room if we wanted (Huh?, just wanted a luggage rack). The bathroom sink would barely drain, notified the front desk early AM, but it was not done that day. The bed linen and blanket were the thinnest I ever saw (could read through it). The A/C would turn after after being on for a certain amount of time, and increasing the temperature would not turn it back on. The motel advertised that tickets for the Biltmore Estate could be purchased at the front desk, but they "ran out" the day that we wanted to go. 100/day is too much for what you get.

Very uncomfortable mattress and pillows. Dirty pool (water was cloudy and had things floating in it as well). Not enough seating in the dining area. Overall, depressing. The trip was not fun because we stayed at a dump.

The hotel is just off I-40 and nearby restaurants are accessible within a few miles. The location is fine and the rooms are generally quiet. Staff was nice, but could have given me a better rate. I walked in and got the full rack rate on a low occupancy night.

Bathroom mirror cracked in half. Cigarette burns on all the furniture and even in the bathroom.I've nothing good to say.

This hotel was surprisingly great considering it was right off of I-40, one of the main interstates in western NC. It was close to the airport, downtown Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Chimney Rock. It was very clean, safe, and the free breakfast every morning was excellent! There were many choices for breakfast. For the price and rating of the hotel, I think it was worth the stay and would definitely stay again. Also it was nice to have cable tv, a mini refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. Also in the evenings, they had coffee/hot chocolate and cookies. If there was anything negative to say, the beds were a little on the uncomfortable side. The pillows were a little to puffy and always having to adjust them. Other than that, I was very pleased and would recommend for anyone looking for a place stay within Asheville. Also it was worth checking out an area called Black Mountain, which was really near the hotel. Lots of interesting shops there worth visiting.

Quality Inn Biltmore East: Check in was a bit of a hassle , only one person to check us in and there was a line. The room was very clean and comfortable, the personnel were friendly and knowledgeable of the area,We went to visit Biltmore Estate and were able to buy tickets right at the counter of our hotel so as not to wait in line. There was a nice variety of breakfast foods and it was well stocked.

Good location. Public areas were very smoky smelling as was the hallway. In the morning the breakfast area was far too small with no seating available each of the days we stayed there. I suspect the breakfast area is too small for the number of rooms. When I asked for a tray so we could take our breakfast to our room, we were told there were none. When I asked it they had a cardboard box, the receptionist rolled her eyes but did find one. Very smelly lobby and hallways when we checked in at night, the room was clean smelling. Would not stay again.

The Quality Inn and Suites in Ashville, NC, was very accessible to sites, food and shopping and I-40. The room was small but adequate and clean.
