I was not sure I was at the right place when I walked through the doors to see a front desk area lit up all across by what appeared to be dark neon red lighting. The rest of the lobby area was dimly lit but again with red lighting that suggested either cheap or old or bad taste. It was after midnight so maybe dimly lit was appropriate, but it actually made me a little uneasy at first. The front desk person was friendly and efficient at getting me registered which put me a little more at ease. My room, however, smelled of smoke and the carpet was dirty or worn looking enough that I did not want to walk on it with my feet uncovered. Bathtub was dirty/aged enough that I did not want to take my usual bath, but opted for shower instead. There was also a light bulb missing in the lamp by the bed. Shuttle service and location (to airport and Mall of America) were good. For the price I paid, I just would have expected it to be better kept up.

Location. Could not stay in pool area chlorine burned our eyes. Friendly helpful staff. Continental breakfast was nice. We could not stay in the pool area as the chlorine burned our eyes. My daughter was coughing horribly after we were in the pool for awhile. Another boy she was playing with also was coughing. We left immediately and took showers and the coughing and burning went away after about an hour.

We checked several area hotels and found this one to be the most affordable. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The staff was so friendly my 2 yeard old grandson made friends with some of them by the time we left. We will recommend this hotel to our family and friends going to visit the Mall of America.

The personnel was friendly and helpful. The bathroom was uncomfortably small, but still adequate.

The rooms were very comfortable and more specifically the bed was amazing! The only thingI would have changed was perhaps some centrally located stairs. This hotel was very nice, especially considering the more then fair cost. From the moment arrived, the staff was friendly and hospitable, the hotel was very clean and quiet. When I walked in my room I was blown away by how spacious it was not to mention the upscale furnishings. I would recommend this hotel to anyone interested in a well priced and comfortable stay for any length of time!

"Each time we have stayed at this motel, they have been painting the halls and doorways. I specifically asked when we reserved our room because it bothers my sons asthma. Air conditioner was full of junk..didn't work. Given a new room, air didn't work either. Checked out and went to Fairfield Inn..more money - but worth it. Found staff to be short with guests and was hung up on twice."

Outside it may not see that nice or impressive, but inside I was very impressed with the rooms. The outside of hotel, especially the back side facing a major street was deceiving from what I found inside. I would stay here again!

"The room was nice but I wanted a non-smoking room and when I arrived they gave us a smoking room. When we asked for a bottle opener we were reffered to the Denneys. After they cleaned we found dirty towels left, food on the floor and nothing was restocked. When I called service I was disconnected or no one answered."

This hotel was in bad need of updates. The door to my room had the veneer cover peeling off from the bottom. The lock had pry marks where it looked like someone had tried to get in. Room was dirty and stinky. I guess the only good point was the location to the Mall of the Americas and Airport. Other than that I wouldn't recommend. Also, the internet was a unsecured wireless network which is not good for any business traveler.

Staff was very responsive to any query or need! Swimming pool was just a wee bit on the cool side. But, manageable! Hotel is PERFECT for in/out airport travelers, or for visitors to MOA. It even works for travelers to Twin Cities for special events or just a trip into the city. Rooms very clean & spacious. Quiet. Responsive staff.

The Quality Inn & Suites in Bloomington was a great hotel. The rooms were very spacious and included a hide-a-bed couch (not that the two of us needed it but it's nice to be able to sit on a couch rather than a desk chair). The location is very close to the mall (1-2 exits away) and to downtown (15 min). The continental breakfast was mediocre - we were full but it was not a hot breakfast. The two nights we were there they didn't have much selection left when we made it to breakfast. There are two rooms that are available for breakfast and so could accomodate many people.

It was clean and the staff was helpful Rooms looked run down, bathroom doors need replaced We checked into a non-smoking room that smelled like smoke and the front desk clerk moved us immeadiately to a new room. The rooms were clean, although slighly wore out looking. The pool and hot tub were okay, could also use a little cosmetic redo. The breakfast in the morning was the usual, but it was kept well stocked and attended.

It was clean and convenient This was a clean, convenient hotel with courteous staff. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

location under major renovation This hotel is obviously changing to a different chain. The signs had been taken down and it was very difficult to find. There was major construction going on throughout the hotel. The room was clean but had very old and mis-matched furniture, the TV didn't get all the channels. It was a very disappointing experience.

desk stafff were very helpful in helping me locate destinations in the area only 2 exercise machines and one was not available for due, in need of repair A very nice, clean, quiet hotel well located for my stay in the area.

Excellent. Very friendly staff. Continental breakfast didn't offer much. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. From the desk staff to shuttle drivers every employee we encountered was very friendly and offered a variety of suggestions for things to do. We even got coupons for bars and restaurants in the area.
