I have paid twice as much before and never had a room as clean, comfortable and had up to date furnishings as this one did. I hope I continue to be as fortunate on my next booking with Orbitz.

Good breakfast. Rate is too expensive even when it is not busy... Good and reasonable.

My wife and I stayed in 17 different hotels during our 36 day trip during August and September 2007 and this was the worst hotel we encounted and the only one we would not return to. The rugs were not clean and the breakfast included was the poorest we had. Given what we experinced at the other hotels we stayed at during our trip, this hotel was way over priced. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Quality Inn at Gananoque, Ontario was an adequate lodging. There really aren't a great number of ammenities, the pool is outdoors and rather small and inconviently located. The restaurant, which is part of the motel, is rather expensive for dinners. And the room was what most people would call ok. The room had twin queen beds which were very comfortable. There was adequate space for clothing and travel sundries. All that said, however, it's location is superb for the major tourist attraction, the boat ride through the 1000 Islands. It is just a short ride through quaint Gananoque to the docks. It is also very convient if you want to visit the casino, which is only a few minutes from the motel. And across the street is a small shopping plaza if you need to pick up something you've left at home, including a full sized grocery store. And once crossing into Canada it is very easy to get to the motel.
