We were in the area on business and found the hotel convenient and comfortable. Could have been cleaner. We can be sticklers on this. The second night they cleaned everything much better. Overall we felt it was a good value

Great breakfast. Basic room amenities. Fine for a place to stop and sleep. Staff quick and courteous. Great breakfast.

Facility is very antiquated and rustic. The heater in the room is either way too hot or not working at all. The breakfast was pitiful and we had to wait way too long for coffee.

The Quality Inn in Staunton was comfortable and quite the room had a table and two chairs. The location was right off the highway.

Good value and location. Nothing to complain about. Parking garage cramped. Typical for this type of motel.

This hotel is so old and ill-kept. The walls were mildewed, carpet badly stained and sticky, room had a damp smell, no AC when we arrived, so hot and foul-smelling. Bathroom tiles were cracked and peeling off, tub was badly stained with a film of soap scum. Beds were fairly comfortable, but road noise made it difficult to sleep. Room had a working fridge and TV. Internet access was sparse when it worked at all--very frustrating. Staff has a lousy attitude. Breakfast was a joke--yogurt and mini-bagels, that's about it. I have a reservation for next month to stay during a visit with my daughter, and I will definitely be cancelling.

Staff willingly and pleasantly corrected all problems quickly. The bath tub was not cleaned well, mildew present in tile too. Staff very accommodating. When the dead bolt did not work in the room, I was immediately given another room. The staff member even brought the key to me. The bathroom needs updating, but otherwise an average room.

"Although I prepaid for this, the hotel charged me again. It has taken 6 weeks to get a refund. It took a long time to get someone who spoke sufficient English to get this taken care of. Don't give them your credit card if you prepay."

The bed was excellent, clean and easy to get to. Good location from the highway. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for and excellent stay.

"I think my husband and I must have gotten Mary Meriden's room. While it was habitable, it was also very shabby. Big holes in furniture, rug and walls looked dirty, patches in bathroom ceiling. Bed adequate, pillows poor, shower, while worn looking, had good water flow. I give it two at most."

Price and convenience. In the middle of nowhere. This hotel was clean and basic. It worked fine for our purposes - an overnight way-station in the middle of visiting Virginia colleges.
