Clean, Comfortable Room with an indoor pool kept at the appropriate temperature. Location was excellent. The maid staff could never quite get the right number of towels, hand towels and wash cloths for the room and there were only 2 of us. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was courteous and polite. The pool had reasonable hours and was kept at an appropriate temperature. The location made most things convenient, especially those things near the western 1/2 of the Black Hills. We would probably stay there again.

Enjoyed stay in Spearfish. Hotel staff was pleasant and very helpful in the area and activities that we wanted to do and see. Would recommend this hotel under the new ownership to anyone looking for a hotel.

Stayed with some trepidation since I had read the other reviews prior to staying. Should not have worried, the staff was great, the rooms were clean, the location was good. Overall a very good value for an area where I think rooms tend to be a bit overpriced.

On August 3, 2007 Hotel has just changed ownership and management. New Management prides themselves running a clean and friendly hotel staff. This hotel is locally owned.

"I did not stay in this hotel, but in their companion hotel next door. Paid cash, but was charged for a room at the Quality Inn, where I did not even stay. Got very cold reception when trying to get resolution/refund for the double charge."

The service was so horrible we left after the first night. The room was filthy and when i woke up I had bites all over me. When I went to the lobby the manager called me a liar! This was the worst stay of my life.
