Santa Fe is a pretty expensive place to visit. The pricy hotel was very nice, of course, but we found that a ten minute drive from our hotel to city center, plus parking, was a very worthwhile exchange for the convenience of living downtown. We saved a couple of hundred a day that we could use to take tours and see the sights, as well as to buy the fantastic Santa Fe goodies that are on sale everywhere. It was a perfect visit. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Check-in was a breeze and the restaurant has incredible Tex-Mex fare (and authentic - the locals ate there!).

Friendly, helpful staff. Parking spots were very limited at night. Very clean rooms, nice view, friendly staff.

Nice decor in room and I especially enjoyed presentation of linen in bathroom. Down side it was on busy road, roadworks outside, and couldn't open blinds or use balcony because it overlooked motel rooms next door.

I was pleasantly surprised by our stay. The room was nice and the Staff was excellent. We had an issue with our room when we first checked in and the Clerk immediately moved us to another room. Upon check out the Staff was vwery nice and even asked us to return. The price was reasonable and we're looking to book another stay.

Great night sleep, Room was a little stuffy but fine. Breakfast was small but you had chance to upgrade at resturant next door. Staff friendly and helpful! The glass doors had no real locks on them, not real secure.

The Quality Inn was very run down and the maintenance was weak. We were in Santa Fe in March, and for the money, I think there are better deals in the area with much nicer accommodations.

Friendly staff, comfortable and clean. Hard to get to from the road. Lots of construction. Comfortable, clean new carpeting and a lovely pool with excellent pool area. Decent food and quick service in the dining room. Convenient to both the plaza area and outlying areas.

We had a great time at your hotel. We especially want to thank the gentlemen who welcomed us on Saturday, Oct. 4. I believe he only worked on Saturdays and Sundays. He was great and we missed seeing him to thank him when we left. The only thing that was not too good about the Quality Inn on this visit was housekeeping. We had to call the desk many times about things not replaced by the maintenance person. Other than that we had a good time once again. My sister and i stayed at the Inn 2 years ago.

This hotel is in need of some remodeling. The carpets are stained and sticky, tile is coming apart and is loose in the bathroom. Sink and counter top stained and in poor condtion. Bed skirting had stains on it and someones trash was behind the nightstand. There is no free hot breakfast as stated. They give you a coupon for a breakfast at the restraunt attacthed to the hotel. Very poor service and very poor food. I ordered oatmeal and fruit and was served a bowl of instant oatmeal with a small paper cup of chopped canned fruit, that took 20 minutes and I was only 1 of three people there

Clean. Good location. Could use some updating. Enjoyed our stay.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and comfort of the room. The outside appearance looked dumpy. The comfort of the rooms and friendly staff made this a very nice stay. The outdoor pool is very nice!

The room was small and the only lexternal light was from the sliding glas doors that overlooked the parking lot. You could not open the curtains to let light in as the parking lot was 6 feet from the doors. The pool had lots of small insects in it and they didn't clean it very often. It was closed one afternoon for shock treatment. Location was ok but construction was in front of the hotel so had some difficulty getting in/out and making the u-turn to go the other direction towards the Plaza.

I picked the Quality Inn in Santa Fe for its price and location--since I don't drive, I wanted a hotel convenient to public transportation, and the Quality Inn is on the bus line with the most frequent buses--but when I checked out the hotel restaurant, I discovered a bonus: it's the southside branch of downtown Santa Fe's Plaza Cafe, a wonderful, eclectic (mainly Southwestern and Mediterranean) diner pre-dating the tourist boom that has transformed the heart of the city. I'd guess about a quarter of the patrons at breakfast and dinner were locals--a good sign. A kid-friendly place with spacious rooms, easily adjusted climate controls, and an accommodating staff, the Quality Inn was just right for a busy weekend stay. Sure, there are Santa Fe hotels with more character, but who wants to sit around in a hotel room admiring the decor when there's such a marvelous city waiting outside?

I have found better hotels for the cost. 2nd floor not firm, furniture moved upon walking. The hotel smelled of old, our second floor room floor was not stable, as furniture moved upon our walking.

I knew I was in for trouble when the front desk person told me not to expect much out fo the rooms. They definitely needed updating. I had never slept beside an ironing board before and each time I moved it rattled. The bottom bed sheets would not stay on so we spend most of the night on the mattress or trying to fix the sheets. The shower head was built for someone 5'5" (I'm 6'2"). Needless to say, I was very disappointed in the room quality. I will not stay there again. There is a better value a lot closer to the square. Quality Inn does not mean it is "quality"!

Good location clean rooms. Nothing. Good hotel for the price.

The best quality is that it is pet friendly, not staff friendly. However, the curtains in our room were stained along with the carpet, the bathroom floor was dirty, the screen door was ripped and it was so noisy with car traffic and our neighbors talking that is was impossible to sleep at night. In the future I will pay double to stay at a quality, pet friendly hotel. You definitely get what you pay for.

Http://blog.myspace.com/fumtu. It was designed by a perturbed pygmy. If you are over 3 feet tall, then you'll hate this hotel. The floor plan makes no sense and the mattress was probably found on the side of the road. The pillows might have been pillows 30 years ago, but it's hard to tell. The internet doesn't work and don't bother the front desk as they probably don't even know what the internet is. Good luck finding the hotel after dark. And when you do, good luck finding parking.

The beds were horrible, lumpy and they used nonfitted sheets for the bottom sheet, which would not stay in. The hotel was just average, in the midst of a remodel. The rooms were quiet and clean but the beds were awful, did not get any decent sleep. The hotel is too far out of town to be useful.

We made our first mistake by trusting Travel agency to find us a room for our stated price. Ended up getting the price we set, but that ended up being TWICE the listed cost of the room for that time period at the hotel, which we had to pay. Then after flying all day, we arrived late at night (after confirming late arrival with the hotel) to find the front door locked. When we got it opened and where given our room we found the first room with no sheets on the beds, returned to the office and given a second room, it was still dirty with an unmade bed and trash on the bed. Third try, they gave us the wrong keys, finally on the FOURTH trip to the office got a room. It was so noisy that even as tired as we were couldn't sleep and the beds where old and NOT comfortable. We where so disappointed, got up early the next morning (couldn't sleep anyways) and left without even trying the breaksfast so we could find something else. I would never use or recommend this hotel again.
