The Quality Inn was a good choice for the price. The room was clean, there was free Wifi internet, and a free basic breakfast. This was a last minute trip and the hotel fit our needs.

The ice machine was broken andthe pool was cold.

My room was hidden behind a staircase and I couldn't get it changed to a better view. The staff was not always pleasant. Did not always respond to my questions or requests. Othewise, was well located to highways.

This hotel sucked. It smelled had to have a candle burning in the room at all times. The rug suck...I would take shower shoes with you if you want to walk on the carpet. They put me in a dark location with poor lighting. The parking lot suck and the bathroom was small. They were stingy with the towels. The continental breakfast was weak. I will not pick this hotela again. It isn't worth the money...even if you are on a budget. I was very disappointed. The description on the website don't do it any justice.

Was given a room designated as handicapped. Room and bathroom was set up for someone with a wheelchair. Mirror cracked. Staff was pleasant, agreed to move me to another room if I wanted. One Italian restaurant next door, otherwise everything is a drive. Fitness room would have been a plus!

Friendly service. Not maintained well enough. Faulty equipment, damaged walls and fixtures.

If you are in San Diego for business and you're watching your "traveling" expenses, this is an excellent place to stay. Clean and quiet. The location is OK, as it is with in 10 to 15 minutes of any business area in San Diego. Close to major freeways. The front offifce staff is very friendly and accomodating. Rooms are somewhat small, but very nice and clean.

The Quality Inn is conveniently located near I-8. It is close enough to downtown San Diego, but also near other sites such as San Diego Wild Animal Park, which was convenient for our stay. The rates were quite reasonable, and the staff was very friendly. Housekeeping kept our room immaculate and were very attentive to our needs. The hotel was adjacent to a quiet residential neighborhood as well. We would definitely recommend this hotel, and we would stay there again when we return to San Diego.

Location. Hotel staff seem very carefree and somewhat lazy. I would not recommend this hotel. The communication between the hotel staff and the cleaning staff was not clear. This is the first time that I have ever walked into a room where the bed was undone after being assured by the hotel front office that the room was done.A bad taste was left.

The rooms are small, but they have a refrigerator and microwave oven, and they are clean. The staff is a little stingy with replacements (e.g., soap, kleenex). The main problem is that finding a place to have breakfast is difficult, other than fast food restauarants like Arby's or Wendy's. It's OK if you're on a budget and just need a place to sleep.

Everyting about the hotel was great: staff, room, breakfast, location to San Diego and freeway. A great place to stay, and I'll be using it again.

It was fairly comfy concidering the room was too small for two queens. No full service restaurant in area, only italian place that we never tried. Have to say way out the way for tourist attract. Staff gave bad directions and sent us to an area that was nothing that we had asked about. Pool was dirty and our room was very noisy from the freeway.

booked a smoking room, took forever to correct mistake. no ashtrays in the room. booked kitchette, no plates, pots, pans, or utinsels what so ever, asked front desk and was advised to purchase my own dowtown. no restaurants or stores nearby. basically this place is in the middle of no where and the office staff is not going to help you at all. basically if you stay here your on your own. oh and by the way the "conntinetial" breakfast is a joke. if you are here for more than 1 day do not count on maid service...it does not exist. also the mattressess have got to be world war 2 surlus because i would rather sleep on cold damp concrete that be subjected to this kind of torture again. my advise is find some where else to stay.

Good for the money. Right next to the freeway and poor sound insulation. Nothing fancy, about what you'd expected for the money. Good channel selection on the TV if you expect to stay in very much. Location is pretty good for wherever you need to go. Only 5-10 minutes to get to every major freeway in San Diego. My only major complaint was how close it is to I-8. It's all white noise and I can sleep through anything, but if you're a light sleeper either stay on the north side of the hotel or don't stay there at all.

I stayed at this hotel as part of a trip to San Deigo with my sister (her graduation present). We were looking for something cheap, conveniently located, without any frills, since we would be out of the room most of the time anyway. The location was great! It was convenient to all the places we wanted to visit: Balboa Park, Downtown, Old Town, La Jolla, Escondido, Wild Animal Park. In our rental car, nothing was more than 15 minutes away, with the exception of the Wild Animal Park (it's rather far away from San Diego). The room was a comfortable, clean, no-frills room, which was fine for our needs. Everything was cleaned and arranged every day when we returned from our day-time adventures. There was plenty of parking and we never experienced any heavy traffic. Here are the only minor annoyances we experienced:1. The hotel is literally right next to Interstate 5, so it seemed a bit noisy. Eventually, however, the noise just becomes background noise and you tend to forget about it. If you were to get a room on the other side, I imagine this wouldn't be a problem at all.2. The room got very warm, despite the nice weather outside. We used the air conditioning unit to cool things down, but it gave off a musty odor. It probably just needed to have the filter replaced.3. There was a small crack in the bathtub, which probably wouldn't have mattered, except that it was almost directly underneath the spout. Everytime we showered, water leaked onto the bathroom floor.

We arrived early and they let us check in. Shower was alittle short and not hot. We arrived early and they let us check in early. This really helped us out since we had been on the road for over 17 hours.

Pool was very small. This hotel was nice quiet and clean. The parking was a little tight but was able to look out my window and know that my car was safe.

Online travel website to the Rescue. Upon checking into the Quality Inn [???], we found that their idea of 2 adjoining rooms was in 2 different buidlings, NOT! Traveling on vacation with 2 children and 3 adults and staying for several days in this set-up was not going to work. The hotel staff was not going to do anything, for they said they were full, and Oh Well! We contacted Online travel website with their no hassles guarantee, explained the situation, and we were booked into a much better hotel, closer into the Mission Bay area of San Diego for the same price. It took awhile to make the arrangements, but we got on with our vacation and had a wonderful time. Thanks to Online travel website , NOT the Quality Inn. The Quality Inn is next to I-8, but you would never see that in any of the literature they post - it would be noisy if you are facing the Interstate.

The customer service was the best I have received. The AC was not very powerful. We had to leave window open. The room was clean and comfortable. The strength of this hotel was the customer service. The front desk people were excellent, personable, helpful, and definitely treated each person as if they were their only customer.

"There were bed bugs and hair on the sheets, the office said they only change the sheets every 3 days, they claimed that if a new tenant comes in, they'll put in new ones but not true, it felt dirty,on my next night the sheet was still the same one. When is dark outside, they won't let any hosts into the lobby area; tenants are treated as potential criminals. Oh..the shower..if you are taller than 4 foot tall, you will hurt your neck trying to shower.Truly disgusting experience, spend a few bucks more on something else than this piece of crap."
