On Orbitz, we were given the option to request a handicap accessible room and this hotel doesn't even have them to offer. Luckily we were traveling with another couple who offered to trade hotels with us. We had already been charged through Orbitz, no cancellation policy, and didn't know my husband couldn't get through the bathroom door until we got into our room. Old, non-updated hotel in older part of town. Would not recommend to anyone.

Excellent value. Internet not easily accessible. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel highly as a good value. The room was clean, comfortable & large. The staff was really exceptionally friendly & helpful. A great place for pets. On the down side the pool is dry and high speed internet is not easily accessible.

I've stayed at the Quality Inn Ponderosa three times in the past year while on business. This time when I checked in, their only elevator was out of order. It's 5 flights of stairs from the garage to the top floor where my room was located. It took two trips of those 5 flights of stairs to load my stuff into the car. On one of the occasions the card key to the room wouldn't work, so that was an additional trip up and down the stairs. Finally when checking out, I asked for an adjustment on the bill for all the inconvenience. The manager snapped back, "there will be no adjustment." I asked her to call her coorporate offices, and not only did she refuse, she asked me to leave the motel and if I didn't she would call the police to have me removed!! How shocking is that! In this economy I'd think every property would do all they could to reasonably satisfy the customer. Apparently not at this place. Oh, and they tout a 100% satisfaction guarantee. The property itself is old, but ok. Seems to be getting more run-down as time goes on. Needless to say, I wont' give them my business again as the service and attitude of the management staff was horrible! There's plenty other nice hotels/motels in Great Falls.

This hotel seems to have had its heyday in the late 1960s-70s. They have worked hard to keep it up to date. You can almost see the ghosts of big-time country-westerns stars long gone walking the halls.

The Ponderosa Inn was comfortable. The room was a good size, bed was comfortable and the staff were very accommodating.I liked the fact having wireless internet service. I also liked having underground parking. When we arrived there was a blizzard so it was nice to get out of the weather. We would stay there again on our next visit to Great Falls.

Thought the hotel was rather shabby in appearance, looked in need of a makeover. Facilities in the bathroom were not up to standard. Restaurant attached was excellent, both for dinner and breakfast.

We went through 4 rooms to find ones clean enough, quiet enough or the beds comfortable, but they did let us choose. It was dirty, noisy, mostly hard worn out beds. No real amenities, they need to find quality staff and a management that cares about the condition of the rooms.

Elevator, underground parking and accommodating staff. Not visible from a distance. I had GPS, so that helped. Both hotel staff and attached restaurant quality were excellent.

Room was nice. Elevator and parking area were dirty. The staff behind the desk seemed to be uncertain as far as working their computer screens and billing. We were trapped in the elevator due to a power outage and the elevator had no emergency lighting and the emergency buzzer did nothing. If we hadn't had a cell phone, I'm not sure anyone would have checked to see, if a guest was trapped. We called 911 and eventually, the front desk - the maintenance man opened the door and let us out. No sympathy expressed from the front desk, but the maintenance man helped us carry our luggage. We appreciated that.
