The Quality Inn Norfolk Naval Base, VA was a very comfortable and clean place to stay. The location wasn't all that I hoped as it took at least 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic, to go to the oceanfront. The staff for the most part was friendly, because I didn't ask for much. The dining wasn't all that I was looking for but it was quality nonetheless. The room was very spacious and I would recommend this hotel to someone that doesn't want to be around the hustle and bustle of the Oceanfront.

There was bed bugs in my bed! They did not even want to admit that they had this problem. I went on the internet to find out about bed bugs when I got home and find out that normally if bed bugs are in one room they are in other rooms. The place was very dirty in the room. The sheets had blood stains which is a sure sign of bed bugs I found out later. Very old run down for the price.

Convenient location. Good staff. The room I had had insufficient space to hang clothes. The refrigerator and microwave occupied the space.

Great location to Naval Station Norfolk and ODU. Rooms are openly accessible to anyone. This was a nice hotel for a one night stop to attend a wedding. The check-in clerk was helpful. The breakfast lacked anything worth eating but the coffee was good and it was available all day. Overall I definitely would stay here again if I ever have to be back in Norfolk, VA.

One light was burnt out, the TV remote didn't work, the front door looked like someone threw coffee on it. The ice machine on my floor didn't work and the walkways, which needed power washing, had mashed cigarette butts that appeared to have been there for several days. I was very disappointed. I will not consider a Quality Inn in the future.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. I couldn't believe the rooms had no safety latch on the inside! As a single woman business traveler I was very disappointed to see that the rooms had no safety latch on the inside of the door. I thought for sure something as simple as that was a law by now. I spent the night with my table and chair moved against the door since the rooms are outside and separate from the lobby and public facilities. I was also thrown by the pool in the lobby. When you walk into the main door of the hotel you walk into the pool!?!? Then go out an alternate door get to the lobby. That needs to be renovated. The last thing I wanted to smell in the winter was a musty chlorine infected pool. The hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. I was pleasantly surprised by their demeanors. I was greeted each and overtime I saw them with a smile. That was the best part of that hotel. If you can get over the safely latch and bad decor and need a good place to stay for Nat or the Naval base, it¿s very convenient. It¿s not a good part of town in the first place, but the staff made up for that.

Clean and friendly staff. I left my cell phone and they would not send it are try to workout something with me knowing I was from out of town. Because of what happen with my phone knowing that I would not stay with them again are recommend them.

It had everything in the room (dryer, iron, iron board, refrigerator ,microwave). Nothing really. I would recommend it. My family and I have nothing bad or negative to say. I am pleased with everything.

HOT TUB!!! Wireless internet was very weak and slow. Overall, I had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff were professional and accommodating. The room was comfortable though not the cleanest. Weak internet connectivity was the only drawback.

Indoor pool, great price, clean room! Parking was a bit tight. Hotel was great. I did name your own price and got a real deal (about 70% off). Room was clean, A/C worked well. Only thing that was a little tight was the parking, but not too bad. Definitely worth the price for the stay and I would stay again in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed the continental breakfast. It felt small and tight to our family. We thought we would be in a hotel and it had a motel feel. Overall it met our needs fine, however it felt a bit old.

Location was advantageous to Va. Beach. Staff were professional, friendly, courteous, and helpful. Room was large and well equip. Room had slight unpleasant odor. Hotel was well kept for its age. Indoor heated pool was a plus. Room amenities were more than expected.

Great, friendly and very helpful staff. Originally booked into a smoking room, the front desk quickly moved me to a nonsmoking room. Good location and a great staff.

Excellent; very neat and good continental free breakfast. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone. The room is big, with a sitting area; reading; Fridge/Microwave/Iron and what not! Good value for the money.

The breakfeast in the morning was better than i expected. The local traffic when going to the beach. We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and relaxing for the price we paid.
