The Quality Inn Motor Lodge, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, was exactly what we needed. It was within walking distance of the Visitor's Center, Battlefields and the Historic District. The room was great. Parking was right outside our door. Restaurants were close by. The lodge's continental breakfast was just enough.
Date of Stay:
June, 2009
Clean, great location, friendly staff. Did not have a refrigerator in the room. I thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. It was situated in a superb location and the staff was friendly and helpful.

This was our first trip toGettysburg. The room we had was on 2nd floor next to the battlefield. The room was very clean upon arrival and the maid service was very good. We stayed three days and enjoyed the amenities the hotel offered. The hotel is very close to all the attractions in the area the Gettysburg battlefield starts in the field next door to it. It was very quiet and not a lot of vehicle traffic but I could see where that would change in the very busy Summer months. All in all we were pleased and will stay in the same hotel in the future.

July, 2007
Ours was a last minute reservation so we had to take what was available. We ended up with three double beds in the room. The room was clean and had plenty of towels. We were next door to the Gettysburg National Military Park so that was very convenient. It was an easy walk to many shops, restaurants and attractions. The continental breakfast was a good variety and the breakfast cottage was very clean and had an attendant on site. Each room has it's own numbered parking space, so your car is always in front of your room and there is never a hunt for a place to park your car.

It had an indoor pool but it was in a separate building. The weather outside was cool so we didn't want to travel wet from it. It had complimentary breakfast but again you had to walk to a separate building.

Close to restaurants and a short walk to shops and museums. Our room was on the 2nd floor could have asked for ground floor. I thought the location was very good. A relatively short walk to other venues, and very close to Gettysburg National cemetery.

The hotel was located right in town within walking distance to the NPS visitor center and restaurants/shopping. However, beacuse it is a ""drive-up to your room"" style, the outside noise from cars pulling in and out and people walking by was annoying...especially beacuse my young son could not fall asleep with all the noise. The front desk people were very friendly.

I went to Gettysburg to play golf two days with the one night stay at the motel. The motel stay was very enjoyable. I'm only sorry there was not enough time to visit the historical sites that time.

Very convenient to downtown stores and the battlefield. The roomswere less than soundproof. We've stayed at this hotel repeatedly over the years and have always enjoyed our stay. However, we've learned from this stay to request an upstairs room, because the noise level from upstairs was just unbelievably loud and it went on until late into the night.

Rooms very clean and property kept neat. Family owned and operated for over 30 years. One of the best features is the location. It is next to the Gettysburg National Park Visitor Center. The continental breakfast is good but not outstanding. Very good value for visitor.

I found the hotel staff to be extremely helpful, courteous and freindly. The convience of oth checking in and out, having all the arrangements handled in advance was excellent. Should I travle to Gettysburg again, I will defintely stay at this hotel again.Yhe rooms were clean and well maintaied and the hotel area was excellent. Also, the hotel was ocated in anvery convient area, easy access to all spots in Gettysburg. On a 1 to 10 scale I give this trip a definite 10.

The Quality Inn Gettysburg Motel was centrally located to the attractions that I was interested. I could walk to many of the attractions. The remaining places I was interested were within minutes by car. The room was large and comfortable. The daily cleaning was very much appreciated and well done. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was having trouble using my key card to get into my room. One of cleaning staff saw that I was having trouble and came to show me the proper way of using the card key. It had been many years since I visited Gettysburg and the motel and its staff my visit most pleasurable.

The hotel was nicely located near everything.

Front Desk staff not trained and rather take personal calls then tend to guests needs. Management leaves lots to be desired. Does not honor agreements. Never again.

Perfect location for visiting Gettysburg Battlefield. You can walk to the visitors center and the third day's battle locations from your hotel room.

Excellent location. Spa at pool wasn't working. Quality Inn is close to the National Cemetery and local restaurants and shops. While it is an older motel, it is well-maintained. Everything worked well except the spa at the swimming pool, which was out of order. The pool is relatively small, but it wasn't crowded and the water was comfortably warm. Unfortunately, passers-by get a good view into the pool area.

I liked this hotel because it was clean, convenient, and it met all my needs with coupons. I didn't like the forced heat in the room because it cause me and my husband stuffy and dry all night long.
Date of Stay:
August, 2006
upon leaving the hotel we discovered we had left a special purchase behind in the room. a phone call was made and our problem was quickly attended to by the desk clerk and the executive housekeeper. We would stay there anytime. Great service and accomodations.
