Great standard hotel - we live in Brisbane and head to the Gold Coast occasionally to visit family in Mermaid Waters. Great rates has just been refurbished.

There were 4 adults in our party staying in the room. With the 4 single beds I felt rather squashed. The bathroom was a very popular room, with the shower, basin and toilet. It was o.k. considering we only stayed 1 night. Of course the facilities would suit more 2 adults and 2 children rather than our configuration. The room would have been quite tight if 4 adults were staying. The location suited us but may not suit if you wanted to be within distance to Surfers Paradise. Pricing - a touch on the high.

We were extremely happy with everything about the Hotel. We had a very pleasant surprise of being upgraded to a Spa room. The room itself was spacious inviting and felt like a home away from home. The lady at Reception was an absolute charmer and very helpful. We actually went to an NRL match the night we stayed and upon our return because of the location of the Hotel we were able to enjoy a very pleasant evening next door without going anywhere in our car. We shall definately be staying here again.

Hotel was clean & tidy, Reception staff very helpful. Location not great, set in a residential area but access to beaches & shopping centres easy by car, not sure how good public transport would be. Reataurant is a steak house in the pub complex, food good, but area quite noisy. If gusts are looking for a "Gold Coast" resort/hotel they may be disappointed, however if you want good decent size rooms away from the rush of the main tourist area, this would suit.

King size bed please, not two singles put together. It's quite uncomfortable as a couple. Real chicken in the restaurant would be great, as we paid over $20 each for processed chicken which we were then told we weren't allowed to have a doggy bag for as my partner's teeth were hurting from recent surgery. Staff were absolutely appauling with their customer service. Friendliness goes a long way, and the staff there definitely weren't.

This is a brilliant hotel! The room was huge, clean and everything felt brand new. The hotel facilities are substantial too. It was amazing value. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Secure Parking great and also a lot of it. Very quiet location, Lone star and a few shops (groceries, bakery, takeaways) very close.
