This hotel is in a good location for visiting Lubbock, However the overall performance of staff was lacking during our visit. Check-in went very well and the room location was nice. We left later for a dinner with relatives but on our return the room key did not function and it took three trips to the desk to gain a key to get us into the room. The next morning we left very early to attend a memorial service in Spur, Texas for My parents and sisters. We returned at about 1:30 p.m. to change and do some shopping. The maid had been there and stripped the bed and sprayed the bathroom. We returned at 9:30 p.m. to find the bed and room as a whole un-finished and in the same state as when we left earlier. It turned out that they had forgotten to finish and offered to move us to another room at the far end of the same floor. We had no choice and accepted, It had been a long and emotional day and with no help from hotel staff it took about 35 minutes to make the switch. There was not a luggage rcak that I could locate so it took 5 trips. I personally will not stay in this location if I travel to Lubbock again. In the past I have been satisfied with the Quality Inns where I have stayed.

The staff was very friendly. I enjoyed staying here.

This hotel is not really very conveniently located as it is in far Western Amarillo, but it is a good buy for the money if you get there early enough to insist upon a room far away from the Interstate. When we first checked in the clerk gave us a room right near the office saying that was all they had. The highway noise would have made our stay intolerable, so I went back and insisted upon a room as far away from the highway as possible and was then given one. The queaky wheel axiom in action. The rooms are very large and comfortable with sitting area, TV, microwave, refrigerator and high speed Internet. The best part of the hotel is the free hot breakfast in the morning.

AC and other amenities in room were working properly. Hallway smelled of cigarette smoke, yet smoke free?

The facilities, staff, were great. Very good continental breakfast. Worth the price.

My daughter did enjoy the indoor pool. Room was not ready when we arrived. New room smelled musty. When we were packing, I checked under beds for forgotten items. Found lots of trash and old socks that did not belong to us. Complimentary continental breakfast and space were inadequate. Juices left black flakes in bottom of cups.

After checking in, I proceeded to my room only to find that it had not been cleaned. The trashcans were full and the beds not made up. I informed the front desk and they assured me it would be ready before I came back from my meeting. The next morning, when attepting to take a shower - I found that there were no toiletries - no soap - no shampoo - nothing. Overall, a poor experience

The room rate was very cheap for the area. The hotel had a bad odor. Not a great hotel but the room rate is cheap if that is what you are looking for.

It was very loud all through the night. There was a funny, disgusting smell in the hallways and the halls were loud all night long. The cops were there at midnight and again at 3am. Would not recommend.

Great value and staff! Nothing. This hotel is a great value. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was great, breakfast was good. Would recommend if you are not looking for something fancy.

Poor lighting in parking and entrance to hotel. Hotel had musty smell, lighting was extremely poor in parking lot & getting to the entrance. Had people walking through parking lot. Staying in this hotel requires arriving during daylight and staying in until daylight.

Easy access to the highway and town, and I liked the fridge and microwave oven. The walls were a little thin, so you could hear other people pretty easily. It was a good fairly new and clean hotel.

Convenient location. Room was dirty, hotel was loud, staff was rude and unhelpful. The stay was terrible. The bathroom and vanity area was filthy. The room was sold as non-smoking but the entire building smelled of smoke. We were traveling with our two small children who could not sleep because of the noise from the second floor. Management did not do anything about the loud guests running down the halls and slamming doors at three in the morning. I actually packed up my family and left at four in the morning.

Location makes entire city accesible. Smoking rooms did not seem to have seperate climate control. Could smell smoke the whole time in our non smoking room. For a quick stay when all you are worried about is a comfortable place to sleep, this would be perfect. The rates are some of the best I have found, many convenient extras (hot breakfast). Maybe a little basic for some people, but overall I got exactly whatI was looking for.
