Close to all attractions. Roaches and ants everywhere. The staff was very helpful. However, the facilities looked like a crackhead was in the room before us. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The walls and ceilings were cracked. There were ants everywhere and roaches in the bathroom. The shower was so inconsistent with hot and cold.

We stayed 3 nights. They keep it clean. The room was large and comfortable. Bathroom tile was outdated but clean. The breakfast was quite good. Hot waffle maker, hard boiled eggs, muffins as well as the usual stuff. The grounds were pleasant and well kept. I'd happily stay there again.

The Quality Inn Lord Paget experience was Horrible! There were bugs in the room and bathroom- yes, roaches! There was 3 to 4 inches of standing water in the tub every time you took a shower. The bathroom door kept getting stuck so you would get stuck in there. Several of the electrical outlets did not have covers and we could see the mold growing inside- yuck! One of the lamps did not have a light bulb and one of my children almost put his hand in the socket- that would have hurt! One day we didn't even get maid service! And as far as quiet and peaceful- forget it! People were coming and going at all hours of the night/morning slamming doors, talking loud and even setting off their car alarms on purpose. It was not a pleasant experience and our family will not go back. I told all of this to the manager at the front desk- he wrote it down, but didn't seemed surprised or concerned.

Coffee shop, very quiet. Room was very small. This hotel was not well located for the traveler, It was kinda cute rooms were very small, It did have a nice coffee shop and pool area.

This property is a nicely maintained brick motor hotel with several different buildings. Ask for the building toward the back of the property as it is more recently remodeled. The grounds are adequately maintained (but has older landscaping) with a nice pond with ducks and wildlife nearby. My husband and I were traveling with teens so we got two adjoining rooms. Great value for the money - we paid for two rooms what we usually pay for just one. The first night the one room had a bad smell that just would not go away so the next night we asked to be moved to two new rooms. The location was great - close to Williamsburg and several nice restaurants.

We arrived after our wedding for a few days. It is an older motel, but it has been renovated, and very clean. The staff was very friendly, and accommadating. There were a couple of small problems, and it was taken care of immediately. The room was cozy and was very quiet. We would stay here again. As a matter-of-fact, we are going back this summer.

It was quiet. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The water temp in the shower went from scalding to freezing at random. The tub very slippery. The AC didn't work. Terrible towels. The people were nice, and the location was OK. The shower went from scalding to freezing at random and the tub was dangerously slippery. I had to call housekeeping to borrow a hairdryer. The towels were terrible-scratchy, small and ragged edges. I use better towels to dry my dog! The door keys kept deprogramming. In the course of a three day stay I had to walk over to the front lobby in the dark to get my keys reset three times. The grounds are very dark at night. The coffee maker in the room is a joke. I would not go back to this hotel, nor would I recommend it.

The continental breakfast was great. Above our expectations. Staff was very helpful and polite. Rooms were nice and clean. Did not stay long enough to find anything wrong.

Although they try hard, this place is just old and out of date. The rooms smelled, the bathrooms had tile older than me. The cold continental breakfast had basic items and was in a decent area, but no one was keeping the area clean and there were crumbs all over the floor and on the tables. Only one small sign identifies this as a Quality Inn. The old original sign states this is the Lord Padgett Motor Lodge.

Hotel is in poor condition. The putting green is overgrown. The room smelled! The ironing board was stained and dirty. You do not get what is in the photos.

The location, and the grounds were beautiful, and well kept. Very peaceful! Room decor is a little outdated. This was an excellent stop on route to the coast. It was clean, staff was friendly, and the location was gorgeous. Excellent accommodations for the price!

Nice location, very good. Very tiny room, old A/C, no desk or table available. Rooms can be connected to accommodate families. Good continental breakfast. Would recommend.

It was small but comfortable and we had no disturbances. The room was very small. The Quality Inn Lord Paget was surprisingly nice for the price that we paid, it was clean and comfortable and was in a nice location. There was a mini golf course, pool, and beautiful pond on sight not to mention that there were friendly ducks walking around. It was a truly genuine experience. I will certainly be back!

The location. The responsiveness when the problem with the heat was mentioned should have been better. There was no heat in my room. I called to complain about it and the attendant said he would look into it and call me back. He never did. I called back again and he said he had made some adjustments to the heat and it should be getting better. It did not get better. I called back again and at 4AM a small space heater was finally delivered to the room. I only got about 2 hours of sleep which ruined my day at the conference that morning. The personnel should have been more responsive by giving me a different room or at least providing some additional blankets. I asked for a refund the next morning and was told that I only paid half price for the room anyway.
