BEST HOTEL IVE EVER STAYED IN!!!

Location. The appearance and the smell of the room, must have been mildew.

The rating of 3 1/2 out of 5 is very misleading. The room was very dirty, dirty carpet, dirty bedding, not a very good job of renovation. Continental breadfast was a open box of donuts on Saturday and nothing on Sunday as the lady responsible for the donuts was running late. It did not seem to be a very big deal to management. I think the amendity of a conteniental breadfast is a big draw to a business these days. I will stay somewhere else on my next visit.

Overall a good experience. Quiet, great location for us & easy to find. Large clean room with king bed, table & chairs, sofa & end tables. Right across the street from an Applebees that served fabulous meals. Some negatives, though. When we asked what time it was going to be served on Sat. the response was maybe not at all since hotel had so few patrons. Front desk conferred with manager and they came up with doughnuts, juice & coffee--not the best continental breakfast we've had, but better than nothing at all. Bed was like sleeping on a hard rock. Staff seemed somewhat aloof at times.

They advertise that they've been totally renovated. Not true. The bathrooms are not new and not clean. The shower/tub enclosure was caked with mildew as was the sink surround. There was hair in the tub and the toilet wasn't clean. The mirrors and patio windows were dirty. I complained immediately (and twice) but nobody ever addressed it. Alot of money for a dirty hotel room.
