I was very disappointed with this hotel. They are very pricey for a noisy spot facing the highway, with low quality service and surly staff. The worst was checking in to my room (in the winter) to find that they don't leave the heat on - it was 17F outside and probably 40F inside. I must have kept my coat and hat on for 3 hours until the room warmed up.

My fist night at Quality Inn East Haven was like the twilight zone. It was almost like that movie with Chevy Chase I think it was the Lampoon Vacation where everything that you can imagine goes wrong. First, there were young teenagers running up and down the hallway screaming. Then there was the guy next to our room blarring the T.V. when were trying to sleep. After that we were kept awake by a group from a wedding who were drunk and screaming, talking loudly everywhere. There was no staff in sight to control it. And that was 1am in the morning! We called about it but they said there wasn't much they could do. They suggested we call the cops?!@ Though most of the time the staff seemed friendly and tried to help us finding places to go. But overall it was not worth the money we were trying to save. It was inconvient to things, breakfast wasn't that good, the ironing board was almost broken and the room was outdated.

Friendly staff, room cleanliness, comfort bed. Breakfast was ok. Definitely would recommend for family with children and friendly staff and greatly helpful.

I had passed this hotel many many times on the highway. I stay there with a friend for a wedding....what do I say about this place.. DIRTY and GROSS..First our door was missing the weather stripping at the bottom so there was a wide open gap (that we had to cover with towels at night)...the walls were covered in stains as were the carpets. The shower was missing a section of paint, the shower walls had massive blue stains on them. The sheets had stains on them. While we requested a nonsmoking room the pillow reeked of smoke...I found out from someone in town that is "the hotel" that high school kids rent rooms by the night for big parties.... STAY FAR AWAY

The Quality Inn East Haven is not a location I would go back to. Though the Hotel does have a few rooms with an interior hallway, most of the rooms have an outside entrance. Most of the parking was behind the building and I questioned the safty of the area, though a police officer did patrol the lot while I was unloading. The pool was out next to the highway and you had to cross the parking lot to get to it. The wireless internet did not work in the room and you had to go down to the lobby to get on line. The rooms where fine and the staff was helpful. Donuts, begals, cerial, etc... was also available in the morning.

We found the hotel on the chain website. GREAT location. 5 minutes to New Haven but not in the city. Right off I-95.
