We were able to change to an out side room, which was at a cheeper price, (we did not know that untill check out and we think it was well worth it) the reason we wanted to was so I did not have to carry lugage far at all. We asked about the tables inside and were able to use them for a Birthday Party for my daughter and granddaughter, who both had Birthday's on 9/01/07. Their Hot breakfast was excelent and the employee who was working both days kept it clean and if some one droped some thing was there to pick it up! There was hot coffee out side of the pool area all the time. I notice when the pool was used there was always fresh towels provided.

The location was adequate. Email was down, room cost same as if I called them, needed pet friendly room I had to change when room was not reserved. Not many amenities (pool was down), call first to assure E-mail access (E-mail access was down), Location is good for area.

On checkin was treated to desk staff making snide remark about previous guest. Then was placed in room in middle of party of cheefleading squad (teenagers, literally a cheeleading squad having a dance immediately outside my room). Room did not have ammenitites promised on web page. Couldn't walk around pool area due to discarded pool towels even at 10 PM. (Couldn't the evening staff make a sweep of the area once a shift ?)Had to argue to get room on quieter side of hotel with stated amenities (the clerk kept saying the computer said that the room did have the ammenities). On change, I thought "OK - I've been here before, maybe chalk this up to a single lapse."Next AM, didn't get wake-up call. Missed breakfast. I complained to Manager and subsequently to Choice Hotels. As I missed breakfast due to wake-up call, I told the manager that I at least expected some cereal for breakfast or him to buy me breakfast elsewhere. Manager's statement was that he was making all sorts of improvements and that if I stayed again, he was sure that I would see improvement.

My room was not ready - they switched me to another room - then another -none were ready. Finally the agreed on a room and then forgot to recode my entrance key. The room wa clean by falling apart. Ceiling damage, tub in poor condition and tile in bathroom was dirty. The outside hall carpet was rippled and stained. Outside entrances in major need of painting. Overall I hope I won't have to use this hotel again.

Soft bed. Just about everything, and very dirty. I would not stay in this hotel again. It was very dirty and Iwas very un happy with the choice I made to stay in this Hotel.

This Hotel was the worst we stayed at with the soccer team for the Show-Me-Games. The carpets were wet and smelly. The walls were dirty the sheets looked awful. Staying with 2 children (one that was 2) I had to go out and buy supplies to clean the room from top to bottom. The first day we were there, someone went to the bathroom on the edge of the indoor swimming pool. When I brought it to the attention of the front desk it took them over 15 minutes to get anyone to the pool area. In that time some child had slipped on the crap and tracked it all around the pool area. The staff didn't know what to do. I have been in the medical field for over 15 years and was quite horrified that the staff didn't have the guests get out of the pool immediately. There were children from babies to teenagers that were unaware of the situation. We had to go the whole trip without a swimming pool even though they said it was fine.

Nothing. Old and rundown. I would not suggest staying at this hotel. Hard to find, rundown and non-smoking room smelled like smoke!

Was very clean and really enjoyed my stay. Pool was very cold and couldn't get a chance to sit in hot tub. Everything was great! Had a little problems with trying to get into the hot tub because the same people were laughing around it for 4 hours!

The hotel is a 2 story, with all rooms opening to a large interior courtyard. The courtyard has a large asymetrical pool and whirlpool with a fun, retro feel. A tasty full breakfast buffet is served poolside. However, the smell of bacon and chlorine makes an odd combination. The carpet and shower could be cleaner. Overall, it's a very fun place to stay.

For an older hotel the room was nice. Atrium and lobby smelt funny. The room was recently updated. This was an Old Holidome (Holiday Inn) and the atrium area was not attractive and had a strange smell. The hot breakfast was below average. The door on the room would stick, the only way to open was to lean in on the door and the only way to close was to slam. This was annoying when late in the evening and early morning people starting slamming doors.

The hot breakfast in the morning was great, beds were soft, clean and comfortable. Room was damp and moldy. Had mold, and smelled like mold. Hotel was ok, for what we needed it for. Our room was on the north side, outside entrance and was extremely weathered. Room was damp and was moldy. Bathroom was clean. Beds where clean and comfortable. Did it's job. Breakfast in the morning was great.

Great area for people to spend time in the outer pool area. Bathroom light cover over the shower hit me while I was getting out of the tub and shattered on floor and in tub area. At 5:45 am, while reaching for a towel to get out of the shower, I felt something hit my right shoulder and then heard something crash to the floor and in the tub. I called the front desk and was told that the mgr and maintenance would not be there till 7 am and I could call them then. I explained I was there with State Music competitors and we had to be on campus to rehearse by 6:30. I have previously 0stayed here 6 yrs ago for State Cheerleading after a fire and our room still smelled like smoke and we asked for another room and were treated very rudely by the mgr. I was hesitant to stay there again but it was as a mom with a student singing at MU and wanted to be able to follow the kids over and not get lost.

Convenient to business meeting. Construction noise, odor, lack of maintenance. Toilet did not work in first room, had to move to second room - no assistance offered, no electrical outlets easily accessible to bedside, removed carpeting piled in heaps, had to walk around to get to breakfast area, odor of carpet glue not pleasant, plates were ice cold at breakfast - cooled hot food too quickly, very unappetizing. Would not have stayed at this facility if I had known of the renovations in progress.

The pool and hot tub were great! Door to room really hard to open. Beds uncomfortable. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much. It was a real plus to have the guest laundry! We would do it again. It is hard to find, though.

The pool, the hot tub, and the hot breakfast. Wish I could have got it a little cheaper. The hotel was great. I wanted to do the "name your own price", but I really wanted an indoor pool, and I wasn't sure if I could specify that on the "name your own price" option. Can you?

We enjoyed the indoor pool. The help at the front desk was pretty ditsy. First we could not even find our room because it was in the back of the building, were you would not even think to have rooms. It took us 10 minutes to find the rooms. They could have told us they were going to be hard to find. We walked in to cob webs going through the doorway. The bedspreads had rips in them. The carpets around the hotel were in desperate need to be replaced. And when we talked to the front desk, they acted like clueless teenagers that were there just to look pretty. I was canceling our room for one night and she couldn't even figure out what day it was or what day I was canceling I had to spell it out to her. For $80 a night, we expected more. We were not pleased with our visit.
