Friendly, accomodating staff, great location, nice room. Bd skirts worn out, missed a spot when repainting bathroom. Outstanding value for the money in the off season. It will become my new Chincoteague HQ Motel. Convenient to town and the Refuge and less than 100 feet from the famed Island Creamery Ice Cream spot. The staff was great and quickly adapted to any last minute requests. The room was comfortable and met alll my needs.

was really amazed with the room amenties and service they had for such affordable price. We exptected that a midscale hotel will have just basic choice and ok breakfast. But this hotel had all the amenities you might need when you are out on the trip. Breakfast was having lot of varieties, but not waffle. Rooms were really nice and well kept. would definately go back to stay in future tirp. Thanks to staff for making our stay.

Carpet sections missing. Looked like animal chewed it. Terrible odor in room. Had to go out and buy scented candles. Bathtub would not drain. Bath towels were filthy with crusty stains. Front desk showed absolutely no interrest in any degree of customer service. This was the only motel in the area that had vacancies and it quickly became apparent why. Throw away the 100% satisfaction gaurantee sign that is displayed in the room. It's not worth the ink they used to print it. When I inquired about the gaurantee at the front desk I was told that they were not authorized to make adjustments and I'd have to speak to the manager. I asked to see the manager and was told that he was not available. If you get stuck in Chincoteague VA, I'd suggest that you sleep in your car before you stay at this place

Close to the island. Internet connction was bad, was not always able to connect. Recently renovated, better looking than most of the other hotels/motels in the area. Internet connection was not always working or at least allowing me to connect. There was only one toaster which created lines in the morning for the breakfast. Overall the hotel was located at a good location and was renovated recently.

we stayed at this place in the last weekend of Aug. It was excellent and one of our memorable trip to the Island. The town is so beautiful that we would definately plan our next vacation again to this place. Hotel was really nice. Clean rooms and really helpful staff. Continental breakfast was nice to start the day. Front staff and the breakfast attendant, gave some time to tell about the town and beach. Also the pony - Lightning on property was awsome. I loved this place, its an exterior location, kids can play around, pool and the little gazebos they had with pleasant music going on, would make us go back again. Thanks for making our stay wonderful, will surely come back again.

really nice and affordable place on the town, few hotels on water front if you want to spend more and stay there, or else if you are on budget than at this Quality Inn try it. Kids can play around, we had good time on grills they had and pool and on site pony is a plus to this hotel. Staff excellent service and so their housekeepers, kind of family atmosphere, which i liked since we were staying out for 8 days and this is what we all expect. Would definately go there again, keep it up Quality Inn, thanks to their staff and Manager Ray for making our stay memorable.

The room we were in, had exposed beams on ceiling. Breakfast was very limited, but was still nice. The room was nice; staff was helpful and also nice. Close to the wildlife refuge.

we tried this Quality Inn first time, every year we go to Chincoteague and stay at some other chains of hotels, this year decided to try this. It was worth spending every dollar here, new rooms fresh looking property and really friendly staff, would go out of their way to help everybody. Pony and large pool adding to this establishment. would go back definately

It was very clean and very comfortable. There aren't enough of them around. The staff is very friendly and more than willing to help in any way they can assist you. It exceeded my expectations. I plan on staying there when I am back in that area.

everything was just wonderful, price, rooms, staff and location. We had a non smoking two queens for our family of 5. Spacious and we requested them for downstairs room. Staff was really helpful and so was their housekeeping. Continental Breakfast was really nice than the other places we stay, but i didnt like was the time they have only 3 hours. I talked to the Manager to extend since its vacation time and nobody is going to come early and he replied that he had find out with his HQ. But overall it was really pleasant experience with their pool and pony. I would surely go back to this hotel.

Big rooms, full cable TV, room amenities. Bad housekeepers. The rooms are large and complete with all the comfort amenities: fridge, microwave, full cable TV, hair dryer, ironing board and iron and a toiletries tray. Definitely it is worth the money. My room reeked of ancient cigarette smoke. All day with the door wide open and a full bottle of Febreze couldn't fix the problem. Housekeeping was terribly lazy. I had to: empty the trash cans, clean up the towels, fetch new towels, clean the sink and mirror and replace the toilet paper. I even had to ask her to make the bed. I didn't leave her a tip.

you will be shocked to see the renovations from the Old Mariner to New Quality Inn, exterior and interior and lots and lots of other changes they have made. We really enjoyed our 4 days stay with kids. Nice Breakfast to start with and really nice exterior pool, kids and play and music going, really nice people to chat with. Beach is around 2 miles from the hotel, which we rented bikes from the the front desk. Staff was really helpful and 24 hours on hand. Housekeeping all the days did excellent job, my only complain was they close the pool at 11 pm, but still you can sit under the lights on pool with pleasant music running... We enjoyed our stay and thanks to the staff who really worked hard to satisfy us all. I would definated come back to this Quality Inn and highly recommend to others...

In fairness to the Quality Inn, this was a last minute trip and I was looking for an economical place to stay. Next time, I will shell out more money to stay in a nicer place. There was a strange moldy smell, uncomfortable bed with firm pillows, poor television reception, and little hot water for showers.

We stayed for almost a week, enjoyed our stay, kids really enjoyed the pony on site and the beach, rooms were really clean, they have plenty of restaurants in town located within walking distance, hotel area was neat, staff was really helpful and overall we enjoyed our stay and would definaltely return to this establishment.

Apparently there are no restaurants in any of the hotels. They do have a continental breakfast which is NOT suitable for a diabetic, so I brought my own breakfast. We arrived on 9/6/07 for a wedding on 9/7/07. There was a bachelorette party on Thursday night and my daughter got back to the hotel very late. The maid banged on the door at 9:20 am and woke both of us up. I realize they have a lot of rooms to clean and want to get started early; however, when the curtains are drawn, that usually indicates people are sleeping. I explained about the late party and asked her to come back. By 10:30 we had left the room, I put out the "Maid, please clean room" card. When I came back three hours later the room had not been cleaned and I left the curtains open and no one showed up to clean the room. The desk clerk did not even apologize, he would have to check with the maid first.

Hotel was convenient to shopping and activities. Rooms were clean with plenty of space for everyone. Pool was large but located near road which a little noisy. They have a Chincoteague pony on site which kids could pet and feed.

Enjoyed staying here. Very family-oriented area. Very safe for walking at night. Superior friendly staff. Promptly came when reported no hot water. Fixed problem in a few minutes. Good selection for breakfast items. Very clean.

Our stay at the Quality Inn was such a pleasure for our 4th of July vacation. The entire staff was such a pleasure at all times of the day. We enjoyed the fun in the sun at the beautiful pool. The rooms were a home away from home with excellent housekeeping! Our family enjoyed having breakfast in the lobby with such a smiling and friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel on the island any day!!!

It was a pleasure to stay at such a nicely renovated hotel. We have been coming for a few years and this was the nicest one yet. The stay was a breath of fresh air with the lovely staff and beautiful outdoors.
