Better than expected for the price. The outside was not very attractive. For the price of this hotel, it was great! It was pretty clean and we had no problems. The staff was helpful, and everything went smooth. It was very close to a lot of dining places and shopping. So much better than I had anticipated!

The first night the room we had did not have any water pressure in shower and water never got hot. We advised desk next mornig and were told it would either be fixed or we would be assigned a new room. We went to races all day and came in around 8PM and they had given us a new room and all was fine. So even though there was a problem it was handled promply and to our satisfaction. The rooms were very clean but some of the furnishings not in great shape, the doors on the tv center broken. Beds were comfy. Little pricey I feel, but it was NASCAR weekend so I guess rhey all jack up the price.

I didn’t like anything about it. It had roaches and it was horrible I didnt like it at all. It was nasty. It was horrible, rude people, nasty rooms, trash everywhere, flies on the breakfast, the restaurant adjacent to the hotel is shut down just like everything else around it.

The lobby was very nice, so what a disappointment when we got to the room. The wallpaper was peeling off in the hall, which smelled terrible. The heater was running in the hallway, and it was 100 degrees outside. The room was not clean, however, the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning unit began to sound like an alarm clock around 1:00 am, making a high pitched whining noise - when I complained the next morning, the only thing the manager said was that he would have maintenance check it out. I would have gone somewhere else if I had not been so tired. One other note, the hallways to the room were not very well lit, and my son, who is 6'5" literally had to duck beneath the sprinklers because the ceiling was so low in the hall. Passed up this hotel on my return through the area. Decent breakfast, however, and the staff was friendly.

Comfortable hotel for the price I was looking for. Not the best hotel I have stayed at. Was very convenient and very accommodating. I would stay again.

Dirty sheets and blankets. They couldn't replace our blanket because they were OUT (what hotel runs out of blankets???) Slow draining tub they said they'd fix and didn't. Odor in rooms. Flat pillows. Poor customer service. They wouldn't listen to the issues we had when we checked out.

Price. Dirty, poor maintenance and surly staff. I guess the issue that sums up my frustration was the fact that I called down to the front desk and said "Good Morning" to the person who answered and I was met with absolute silence. So I asked my absurd question and hung up. I meeded to change rooms because of the poor condition of theroom. I will give them credit for being receptive to my concerns face to face, but the continued ringing of the person's cell phone was distracting.

Location to Shades Valley Church. No hot water in facet and toliet didn't want to flush. The room was clean but the hotel needed a complete remodeling job. The hot water at the sink didn't work and the toliet didn't want to flush. I wouldn't recommend this hotel until it does some major remodeling.

Service was friendly and helpful. The pool was nice. Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable. In our room there was no cable. The room was a little out of date. It is a great hotel for the price. Although the room looked a little out of date, the bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was delicous, more to choose from than just muffins.

Friendly staff. The hotel was a wreck, lights out in hallways and doors were broken. Avoid this hotel. It's run down, has a jungle growing in the tennis court, lights and carpet missing in hallways, broken entry doors that just swing in the wind, and noisy AC.

Continental breakfast was nice. Good selections and clean. The room was small and had a musty odor. Chair was worn, dirty and had holes in it. The hotel was easy to find but a little too far from Downtown Birmingham. Continental breakfast is nice. Very quite. Would stay again if in the Vestavia area.

Location was good for our purpose. Things didn't work: ice machines, elevators and hair dryer. The rooms were clean and simple, but many things did not work. In addition, both of our parties rooms had to be moved due to water leaking in the bathroom from and upstairs room.

Convenient location to my destination and close to many restaurants. Clean, adequate for our purposes, spacious, really liked the balcony, easy access on and off of highway, very friendly and helpful staff, very nice pool.
