The price at the Quality inn Bardstown KY was way too high for such a small room. the shower walls were covered with mold. there was no hot water the first day. the carpet in front of the door was soaked from rain coming in. the continental breakfast consisted of cold cereal or a bagel. the bar in the hotel charged an additional cover charge to get in (and there were only 5 other people in the place). very unsanitary restrooms... unusable. Please do not plan your stay here, you'll regret it!

My family and I drove from GA to KY 10 hrs straight to deal with the death of a family member. The staff here was more then kind. We were there during an ice storm and even though the cleaning staff could not make it in the front desk was more the helpful to us offering clean sheets and towels. My only complaint was that the room was too warm, I had a hard time getting the temp down to a comfortable level but I thought to bring a small potable fan with me. I do plan on returning in just a few weeks for another week long stay and recommended it to family that plans on coming to Bardstown this Spring. I have stayed in 3 hotels in the area there and this was by far the best.

This is the second and last time I let a Northstar-rated hotel bite me. Two stars would be optimistic. Before booking I called; the lady on the phone said there were no pictures because they had only been open one month. Perhaps only one month since fumigation. Make no mistake - this is on par with Knights Inn, and decades old.
