Date of Stay:
June, 2009
The room was in fair condition and the staff was friendly. I asked about a park in the area where I could take my granddaughter to play and a couple of the staff members provided information on places to go. There were plenty of places that were close to eat and a market that was near by. The location was convient to neccessary stops.

Dirty, smoke filled rooms. Had to change room because the first room smelled like someone left a cigar burning all day in it or there was a fire in it. When we asked to change rooms, the manager told us we paid too cheap of a price to have a better room.

Super friendly staff. Room was dated, wallpaper torn, thin towels etc. Beds clean and comfortable. Vending machine was broken and allowed you to buy but not get to your purchase. We were told the machine on the 3rd floor worked but why no sign on the broken machine?!? We requested a king and received two queens. Room was directly across from the laundry room. Not a big deal and we didn't complain, just an FYI to be aware. The motel met our needs for a one night stay on our trip but definitely not a must return to place.

This hotel has covinced me to never choose price over comfort. I wanted just a cheap hotel to stay in with my fiance because we'd be spending most of the time at Dorney Park, but this hotel made it blatantingly obvious that it was a */night hotel. The room was small, the hotel felt and looked old, the bed felt like i was sleeping on rocks, and there was a sign in the breakfast area that read "For your convenience, food is NOT allowed outside the breakfast area." Someone needs to tell me what is convenient about that. The worst part was that my shower had no cold water. Those were the only two settings. Luckily, Mike, the only good thing about my stay, allowed us to use the shower of an unused room on Monday night.Take it from me, spend the extra /* a night and stay at one of the hotels across the street from Dorney Park. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Price. Kind of run down. Good place if all you're looking for is a place to sleep.

Nothing. The hotel smelled so bad with cigarettes, the place was so dirty, poorly lite inside there was even holes in the floor that were covered over with carpet.

After the first night I had bites on my lower back... but I thought maybe they were mosquito bites or something from being outside that day. Second night, had itchy red all over my arms, shoulders and hands! Breakfast was also disappointing... toaster waffles, sugary stuff, burnt coffee and no yogurt. Will never stay there again.

The location is centrally located only 1 exit from lehigh valley mall and only 1 exit from dorney park and wild water kingdome. This is also the closest hotel to J Birney Crum Stadium and Allentown Fair Grounds & Agricultural Hall. Room was clean and staff was friendly. We will surely return.

The hallways and rooms smelled like someone went absolutely crazy with disinfectant.

Dirty. Looks like a place teenage kids go to drink on the weekends. Staff lounging in the hallways in the morning. I would not stay here again. Parking lot was full of broken bottles. Could not wait to leave in the morning.

Two nights at the Quality Inn in Allentown and I'm covered in horribly itchy, red & swollen bed bug bites. Breakfast was sugary and coffee was thin and burnt tasting. Daytime cleaning staff were smoking in the halls. Best part of our stay was proximity to my Grandmother's nursing home... next time I'll drive further and hopefully find a bedbug free hotel.

This hotel is definitely not three stars..When we got there we were very disappointed, the room smelled like smoke even though we requested no smokimg. There were cigarettes burns on the walls and the bathroom had mould. The comforter on the beds smelled and we requested another room and it was almost the same. The people staying in the hotel had their doors open and someone had left the fire door open. We didn't feel safe especially because we were traveling with a two year old. I do not recommend this hotel!!!

For the price, it was a good place to spend a couple of nights. I enjoyed having a refrigerator, microwave, and cable tv with HBO. It's vending options were less than desireable and the bathroom/shower was not appealing, but the sink area outside the bathroom was spacious. It was a good compromise of amenities for a low price.

Nothing. Everything! No one spoke English! No one at the hotel could help us with anything that we needed!! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

This hotel fairly easy to find from Rt 22, 15th St exit. Look up at the tree line on the right and you will see the Quality Inn sign. I arrived an hour before check in, but the very nice woman at the desk let me check in early. There are no restaurants around that I could see, but there was a minifridge and small microwave in the room. The elevator was slow, small and loud. The 2-queen bed room was small and appeared to be clean (although it was pretty shabby). I felt safe. You will hear the occasional plane flying overhead. The heater/fan in the room was loud, and it was tricky to control the temperature. The bed was comfortable enough, although some people will think it is on the harder side. There was a fitness room, but I didn't check it out. The continental breakfast was very basic: cereal, fruit, toast, waffles (the frozen kind), toast, coffee, juice, condiments. Someone should have been around to keep the kitchenette tidy while guests were eating. The hotel would look a lot better if they cleaned the outside of the windows. All in all, as a single traveler attending a conference, it was 'good enough' for the price. It is not a place to go on vacation, unless you are budget-minded and will not be spending much time in the room.
