O'Connell Center, home of the UF Gators. The Gainesville Regional Airport and Ichetucknee Springs State Park are 18 miles from the hotel. The Quality Inn is only one mile from historic downtown Alachua, an area full of antique shops and restaurants. Pool closed for renovations unil Feb 2, 2009.

The hotel is in a great location in Alachua. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The rooms are nice and clean.The housekeepers and front desk staff were both friendly and very helpful. The pool was very nice and it was not noisy here.I had a great rest. The Alachua car rental lady said that this was the very best hotel in Alachua.She said this hotel is the only one she recommends to her customers. She said that the other hotel located near a bar was where the "crack addicts" did their thing.

Front desk clerk was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. Very good value for the money - large room w/ king size bed and fold out sofa. Very convenient location for restaurants. We had an early start so didn't get to take advantage of the breakfast but would have made it an even better value. Very pleased with my stay. Only complaint was that the coffee maker had been overlooked by the maid with coffee grounds from previous guest. But other than this very minor item, very pleased with the room and hotel.

Location was perfect. Too expensive, not worth the money - room was hot - took a long time to cool It was clean enough, a slight smell to the room. The room was hot, took a long time to cool. We have stayed in a lot nicer hotels for half the money it cost for this one.

I wanted to check out about 4:30AM, and no one was available at the front desk nor could I get into the lobby - all exterior doors locked and no answer to repeated pushing the call button. Other than that, I had a very good stay.

"This hotel's amenities are on par with the cheaper hotel chains (e.g., Super 8, Motel 6, etc.) but is priced as a luxury hotel without the services or ambience. This hotel is definitely not worth the expense. Our A/C did not work in our room, the continental breakfast was your basic cereal, pre-packaged muffins and bagels (except had waffle maker). The rooms themselves were the standard, with nothing extra to account for the higher price. Would not stay there again."

"My sons and I came to Alachua to experience the Springs this summer. The dive shop suggested us to come to the Quality Inn. We loved it, there was a huge pool for us to play in, the staff was very friendly to my family, and at night there was a huge picnic under the stars at the BBQ pit where a huge portion of the hotel met together. I had a great experience."
