It was difficult to find the entrance in the dark. The hotel has a huge (security?) wall that encloses most of the parking areas; however, I felt that the parking lot, in the back, was too dark and unsafe. The staff did not tell us that our room was inside the courtyard and it took a few minutes to locate our room. The hot tub and pool are great! A housekeeper was very helpful in the a.m.

Hot breakfast saved me a lot of money and time. Very small, full size beds. Very hard beds. Older, mostly well maintained, it helped us not to have to spend a lot of money for a last minute overnight stay at SLC, UT.

Convenient location to freeways, downtown Salt Lake City and surrounding food and gas station.. Nonsmoking room smelled like cigarettes. Breakfast wasn't great, made one pan of gravy and by 7:30 a.m. was all gone. Bummer for the rest of us. I would stay there again for the price. Front desk was friendly.

We had two rooms; one had a gap between the door and floor and no hair dryer, the guest laundry washer wasn't working and the cooler/vent was loud. We didn't check out until 11 (the posted checkout time) and the cleaning staff had knocked on our door once then appeared to be checking every so often by pausing at our door and listening to see if we had gone.

If you don't have enough time to spend on the city and will leave very early at next morning, it's fairly a good choice. The bed is not very soft but so far not bad. It's a bit noisy in the morning as many guests leave very early and their car starts just in front of the door.

Breakfast. Noisy, low quality, trains, traffic and door wouldn't open. I would stay somewhere else.

We have a good time to stay this facilities for 5 days while I were in a conference in the convention centre and my wife and son stay in hotel. The breadfast is satisfactory and fair. Hotel provides shuttle services to convention centre free most of the time although it takes 30 minutes for some of the time. We can park our car in front of our room. We have microwave and referiagtor in the room. The down side is the room is small. Freeway is close and we heard trains horn at night. Also, we heard door open and close at the early morning. Also, the internet cannot be connected at night time. Other than that, it is good.

I was staying on the hotel's corporate 'frequent flyer' program so it didn't cost me a thing, and the stay was almost worth that, nothing. The staff were helpful, they did go out of their way to get me to the ski bus, just in time. The rooms, sad to say, are dingy. I thought it was because I was on the company's free stay program so I asked for another room that had been refurbished. Unfortunately, it was basically the same: one single lamp in the room, I had to turn the TV on to get some more light, the mattress was very hard, the pillows had no spring left, the bedspread was old. The furnishings are dated. My second room, the refurbished one, had a new TV and a new bedspread. But, other than that, they were the same dingy rooms. The breakfast is wonderful! A true hot breakfast with eggs and meat. But, you have to ask at the desk for the coupon, or at least I did. I wasn't issued one when I checked in [free stay syndrome?]. The bathrooms are redone, clean new fixtures [tub, sink] and nice. I stayed when it was cold and I could see out the bottom of my door around 4-6 inchs along the bottom edge and 6-8 inchs up the side, so there was a lot of draft coming in. This definitely was not worth it.

I recently stayed at the Quality Inn near the airport in Salt Lake City. This hotel is located between downtown and the airport and is convenient to both, on a major street that leads directly to Temple Square a mile or so away down the street. My room was very nice for a hotel in a budget-type chain. The hotel is not new but looks well maintained and freshly decorated. The bed was comfortable with lots of pillows, the room was very attractive with nice furniture, and everything was very clean. I enjoyed the abundant free breakfast. The nice young woman at the front desk went out of her way to be helpful with directions and recommendations of things to do, and recommended an excellent Mexican restaurant nearby. There is a very large lawn in the middle of the courtyard, with a big pool that must be nice in warmer weather. The fitness center was smallish but adequate. I thought this was a very good hotel for the price that I paid. I dont know if Ill be coming back to Salt Lake City, but if I do I would stay at this Quality Inn again.

The location was very close to the airport. The water in the shower was only luke warm and not hot.

Stayed twice in mid-March 2009. Once on arrival into SLC, then the night before leaving. Place reminded me of 70's style hotel, where you enter room from a common outside walkway. Because of this, I always shut the window blinds, making the room quite dark, especially with red curtains and dark decor. Bed comfort was very good, and when I turned on the heater fan, it created a nice hum that allowed me to sleep perfectly through the night. The single serve coffee makers produced really good coffee, but had to go to the lobby to satisfy my coffee fix. The number of stations you got on TV was astounding for a hotel, but I just stuck to the basics (ESPN, CNN). Getting to the internet was problematic. While I could see several access points, I could not connect to the strongest signal (true on both days I was there). Was able to access on a low signal connection and get to my email and such; maybe they just had some issues that week. Fitness center had the basics and allowed me to get my daily workout (they had elliptical, bike, and treadmill, and several sets of dumbbells and a bench). Nothing elaborate but OK. Lastly, I only went to breakfast one of the mornings (a weekend day); I was surprised they served it from 6-9am (like a weekday). I slept in as late as possible then went down at 8:45am. They were pretty cleaned out but after waiting, fresh scrambled eggs and hashbrowns were refilled but went very fast. I was not impressed with their ability to keep up with the crowd, but was happy I got my hot food. Overall, a pleasant stay given the cost.

The week I spent at this hotel was terrible. The concierges were of zero assistance and were often rude when asked a question. They could not tell the simplest details about the hotel and the city of Salt Lake. The van service was also very poor; in order to be on time for the ski bus, I along with my two roomates, had to be at the van an hour before the ski bus was leaving a hotel five minutes away. After the day of skiing the hotel would not even pick us up at this same hotel because the Quality Inn claimed the hotel was to far away. The rooms were okay; very few outlets were functional, the towels were rarely restocked as well as the soap and shampoo, and the front wall was all glass which made the room cold and allowed for us to hear every sound which was made in the parking lot. Overall it was a very poor experience and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Quality Inn Airport was a great value. The room was clean, spacious and seemed to be recently redecorated. Loved the free hot breakfast, better than most hotels I've stayed in. Good internet connection- printer in lobby helpful. All around great stay and value. Joyce Los Angeles

My Husband and I have stayed at this paticular hotel a couple of times. And we always have a good experience. The rooms are clean and perfect for the overnight trip. They offer a pretty decent hot breafast for free. The desk clerks are always friendly and the hotel itself is close to quite a few eateries. It also has easy acces to the interstate. I actually l request this hotel when booking online. I would reccomend for other travelers.

This is the second stay we have had and both have been great. The rooms are large, clean and comfotable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The remote was missing from the room when I called the desk she had no extras but kindly offered to hunt one down. The food tasted bad but the dining room was clean and beautiful.

Nowhere to get food, room was filthy, 2 single beds were very inconveniently placed in the room. On check-out I advised the clerk who apologized and comped the whole stay. I was very impressed with that and left happy. The clerk told me that she had never heard that a room was dirty at check in. STANDING BEHIND A REPUTATION IS RARELY ENCOUNTERED THESE DAYS.

The night desk clerk was lacking in personal skills, but I thought as long as I get checked in who cares. The room is outdated, but clean. No one was staying in the hotel that night, so of course it was wonderfully quiet (no clue what it would be like with guests). My only complaints were the bed was rock hard and the shower ceiling had a bit of mold. The internet worked great, which was most important because I was working and only had time for 2 hours of sleep anyway. The shuttle leaves for the airport every 30 min after 4am, and the morning staff and shuttle driver were extremely friendly and helpful. 7 min drive to the airport. Don't overpay to stay here.

The location was great. Rooms were what was expected for the level of hotel described. Transportation to and from the airport was a breeze. And the bus pick up that takes you to the city centre is so close and you there within 10 minutes. Very happy would stay there again.
