I'm really getting discouraged by the Choice Hotel group. This place was really a dump. Room was adequate. But carpets threadbare, furniture old and poorly maintained. Halls were horrid. Poor lighting, peeling wallpaper, doors that don't close. Staff was largely disinterested. Lobby kind of a mess. If businesses don't care about their image more than this, I don't want to deal with them.

Close to the airport. Smoking and no airport parking.
Date of Stay:
December, 2008
The heater did not work in the room. It was freezing all night long. I was all itchy when I got into the bed. The room was not all that clean.

I would advise you to STAY AWAY from this hotel. Hands down this was my worst expereince with any hotel, and I have stayed in many. The staff was apathetic. The first room we were given was still being "cleaned" so we had to go all the way back to the desk to tell them. They gave us a new room... which was questionable. But at this point, we knew that everyroom was going to be the same. When we came back that night, there was no parking left anywhere. Our room keys had stopped working and the desk attendant acted as if we just asked her to carry us to our rooms. We received 2 wake up calls at 3am and 5am... out of the blue. And at 7am, someone tried to enter our room, even though the do not disturb sign was on the door. The most horiffying part was pulling my feet out from under the covers and finding a used band-aid attached. That is the ultimate grooss out. Proof that they did not change any sheets between travelers. I couldn;t bring myself to take a shower there. At that point I just wanted to get out! Finally when we checked out, they argued with us about which room we were in. There are many, many nicer and newer hotels around the airport to choose from. Stay Away form this one!!!

I was staying overnight so that I could catch a plane the next day. I'm glad it was only overnight. When we came to the hotel it was being cleaned and so the hallways were dirty. The sheets on the bed were dirty. The pool and spa area were not attractive. The lobby area was packed with furniture. This hotel is in need of major updates. It's depressing how old the furniture, pictures, and ceilings are. I felt like I'd been sent back to the 80's. Also, they only offer basic stations. In addition the hotel itself is in the most strange position. You have to drive around to your hotel building. It was very confusing and weird because the letters on the buildings weren't even in alphabetical order. You'd have to experience it to fully understand.

Location. Cold, run down, unsafe, poorly kept. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed - bad enough that I intend to write a very strong letter to Quality Inn Corporate.

I enjoyed my stay with Quality Inn Airport Buffalo. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Good value for stay as transport from Buffalo Airport to city and Niagara Falls is very easy and economical.

We stayed at this hotel on the way back home and found it to be just fine for our family's needs. The pool was WARM and was just what the kids needed after riding in the car all day. The service was a little slow in the evening but fine overall. We felt safe and the place was fairly quiet. Comfortable, clean rooms were nice. Close by the falls and near other attractions. Only negative was it was a ways off the interstate and took a while to find. Overall, with price and quality, it was worth the extra miles to get there.

Its near from Buffalo airport (walking). only thing is that you need to have good timing or transpotation to reach falls.

Helpful staff, free breakfast, good location. Phone didn't work in room, not enough parking. Good location for airport travel or Buffalo shopping. Staff was helpful and friendly. Free breakfast is adequate.

August, 2008
In addition, I really enjoyed the size of the room.
Date of Stay:

Staff was VERY friendly we were highly disappointed. 35 min wait for shuttle pick up only 1 mile away, cigarette butts on floor of non-smoking hallway, shower faucets falling off tiles in bathroom, soap scum in soap holders (refused to be barefoot), STINKY in hallways and room, wallpaper peeling, decor was 1980's beach, alarm clock was unplugged, Didn't use food services or entertainment--Dialup on the lobby computer. Terrible ending to a great family vacation. Good place for students on lowest budgets possible. should be 1 star.

It was just on OK hotel.

Very roomly and clean. Room key was disabled on the second day had to fix at front desk. The room itself was very clean and attractive looking. Parking was a slight problem. Most spots closets to the door were taken. The room key was disabled on the second day, so we had to reload all of the packages we were going to store in the room back into the car then have the card re-activated at the front desk then drive back to our suite. It was slightly annoying as the weather was freezing and after a long day both of us were tired. Overall, the experience was wonderfull exactly as we expected. If not for the parking and room card problems this hotel was perfect.

Houskeeping didn't vacuum or empty the trash. The room smelled bad and was in need of a major refreshing. The sink was cracked and the vanity surface coming apart.

The hotel was clean and neat and very close to the airport. It is somewhat limited on amenities (like no movies).
Date of Stay:
November, 2008
Location. Off the road, limited parking. Parking was limited - I would assume because they allow parking for the airport. Room stunk of cigarette smoke - in our non-smoking room.
Date of Stay:
February, 2007
Though near the airport this is a very quite place to stay. Indoor pool and hot tub usable even in February - great. Staff was wonderful and very helpful, a joy to be with.

Location to shopping and restaurants. The parking lot was not big enough. The hotel staff was polite and friendly. The parking could have been better. The check out was fast due to the pre-paid room which was good. We used the pool which could have been bigger but the facility was clean. Overall, we would come back again.
Date of Stay:
November, 2008
The breakfast was quickly topped up for a large amount of customers - no first come gets it all. Bedrooms near a good clean/busy so no parking.
