whenever I come to Montreal I stay at this place, due to it's proximity to synagogues. The staff at this place really make you feel like a king. I had forgotten My toothbrush and shaving cream at home. Within 2 minutes of calling the Fd they were at my door step. On My second night at the Hotel I sprained My shoulder. One of the Housekeepers was nice enough to go out and purchase Myoflex for me. really nice place at a great rate

Disaster on DecarieThis is an old and tired hotel. The rooms were unimpressive. Some modernization of the rooms has been attempted. Cleanliness sorely lacking. Beds like sponge rubber. I would never return and could never recommend this hotel to others.

Proximity to downtown, staff. No WiFi internet, had to get a cable and plug into wall. For the solo business traveler and/or student it located half between the airport and downtown. Downtown is easily accessible via the Metro subway station which is approximately 4 blocks from the hotel (10 minutes walk). Taxi costs to the airport are a bit steep at a flat rate of $40 CDN. Public buses can transport you to the airport but this is a fairly lengthy trip (1+ hour). People are generally friendly and willing to help.

I spent a week at this hotel for a conference downtown. The service was great, the room impeccably clean. I enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and the sauna. There are 2 excellent restaurants with reasonably priced meals. The location is fine - a five minute walk to the metor and a ten minute ride to downtown. By car itis is seven minutes from the airport. AT $99 I feel I got a real bargain.

While the hotel is in a descent location and is in good condition and cleanly, the staff were just awful. While the hotel is run by Hasidic Jews,who generally know little about western standards of hospitality, the front desk staff seemed oddly enough to be Arabic, from the ME or something, and not only had no personality or any French charm, but spoke lackluster English, but most importantly put no effort in helping me out in directing me to some local sites and events to go to. WORSE, THEY DOUBLE CHARGED ME FOR MY STAY!! While at the other hotels I booked through Travel website, all I had to do was sign a form at the hotel site, as they were aware that I had prepaid(even if I wasn't sure how the payment would work), this hotel took my credit card and charged me on the spot. Later that week, I see both charges from the hotel and Travel! I am still waiting already 6 months to be refunded! Maybe they have new, better staff by now but who knows.

please note that when this website (laterooms) says this is the "total price you'll pay at the hotel" it's not true. the hotel charges an approximate 10% tax, and when i pointed out that the printout from the laterooms confirmation clearly stated otherwise the front desk manager refused to discuss, simply saying that it was the website that was incorrect. i would never stay at this hotel, nor any in this chain again, and i probably will never use laterooms again to find rooms. it's just all too dangerous when people refuse to accept what is clearly in writing.

Hotel was marginally clean. Breakfast consisted of 4-5 types of bread, just left out uncovered. Breakfast area was filthy, no one to supervise. Subway actually 4 blocks away.I submitted a review right after our stay and it was posted here but then removed-- why?People rely on these reviews. I know I did, and I was misled by the positive reviews of this hotel. It is NOT GOOD. If someone had told the truth, I would not have stayed there.

Hotel was marginally clean. ""Continental breakfast"" consists of 3-4 varieties of bread, just left out uncovered. Breakfast area was FILTHY. No one seemed to be overseeing it. Subway is actually FOUR BLOCKS from the hotel, not ""feet away."" Would not go back.

I loved this Montreal kosher hotel, the price was right for breakfast, parking, high speed, and no charges for local calls. I am not kidding. We walked out of their for less than * with all that.

Nice place for the price with the free parking and breakfast .Walking distance to the subway.Helpful staff even though they messed up with the wake up call by calling one hr early. Overall Good place to stay if you planning to the see the city whole day and just need the room for bed and to freshen up.

"Staff was extremely curtious and helpful, and it was much appreciated as it was my first visit in Montreal, they gave me lots of handy tips about places to see, parking downtown, restaurants, nightlife. I would definitely recommend this Hotel and plus I found it was a really good location, not exactly downtown but in five minutes you could get there"
