Overall the hotel was nice. I was there on business and I rely heavily on the internet. There was no option to purchase the internet for a 1 week block with upgraded speed and download capability. The previous week I was in Cambridge, England at a Holiday Inn Express. There you had the option to buy the internet for 1 week and they upgraded the speed and the download. Needless to say I was disappointed in the internet service of the hotel. However, Breakfast was very nice.

The Koenigshof Hotel was very clean and well-kept. Our room included a small living room, a separate bedroom, and bathroom. There were two doors leading to the large balcony which had a table and chairs for a relaxing morning coffee. It was located in the center of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, not far from the train station. We had free parking in their underground garage. One disappointment...we paid for 24-hour wireless internet. It would not work from our room on the 3rd floor.

This was a perfect hotel to stay at in Garmisch. It was close to the train station, the Zugspitzbahn and was in walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast buffet was delicious and very satisfying. The staff was very accomodating and we will definitely consider going back here when we travel in that area again.
