We stayed in this hotel for 3 days and these 3 days were the best part of our 2 week vacation. This hotel has nice river view, yes the one that starts from Niagara Falls. From their dinning area the view is so nice and the dinning area was itself very excellent. We missed to pack toothpaste and hair brush. Within 2 minutes of call to front desk, we got all the stuff. Thanks. It is just few minutes away from Niagara Falls may be 3-4 minutes by car and the best thing is that gives you calm, relaxing, peaceful and pleasant area.

Location, services. Breakfast was not included in the package. The hotel was located on the banks of Niagara river so we could see the river from our room. Hotel had free shuttle service to the Falls and Casino which saved us on parking of 20$ twice. Room was clean and comfortable.

Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Not close to the Niagara Falls but provides a convenient and periodic shuttle to go there pretty much all day and night. I liked it.

I have never stayed at a hotel where the staff listened to our request...We asked not to have any of the house keepers enter the room and on all occasions prior to this weekend the staff did. This was the first time our requests were granted... Thanks for helping to make this this one of our most romantic weekend away from home....

Cleanliness, showers and friendly staff. No room service or dining area, cash machine not working. I was very hesitant from the beginning since our fireside hotel no longer had a working fireplace. Other than that, rooms were very roomy, clean and the staff very helpful. We also absolutely loved the shuttle service. Be prepared to bring your own snacks since there are no bars or local dining areas. We survived but free breakfast sure would've been nice.

My biggest complaint is with the cleanliness of the room. When we arrived, there was garbage still in the room from the previous occupants even though the room had obviously been cleaned by the room attendents. There was also glass cleaner left on the bathroom counter and an empty toilet paper roll. The room had a stuffy, "unclean" smell to it and since the windows don't open we couldn't really air it out. The shower alternated between hot and cold and was not a pleasant experience first thing in the morning. On a positive note, I liked that the hotel was away from the bustle of the tourist area and there is a free shuttle that runs between the hotel and both casinos. Beware of the shuttle schedule, the info given to us by the hotel staff was incorrect so we ended up waiting an hour for a shuttle that never arrived. It's best to talk to the shuttle driver to get more accurate times. You get what you pay for at this hotel. Next time I would definitely splurge to stay somewhere nicer. There is a definite "ick" factor here!

If you are only staying for 1 day, you won't notice the lack of cleanliness in this hotel. However, if you stay more than 1 day (like we did), you will notice it is probably the worst cleaning job ever!! Our garbage cans were NEVER emptied in our room, our floor was never vacuumed, and our sheets were never changed. The pool was very cloudy as it looked like it needed to be cleaned as well. The ONLY way I would ever stay here again is if it was for aperiod of 1 day only.

Accommodated needs by transferring us to another hotel with a fireplace. Fireplaces were out of service in whole hotel. The Best Western FIRESIDE didn't have any working fireplaces, one of the reasons we booked at this hotel. Best Western worked with the Days Inn next door and gave us a room in the Days Inn with a fireplace. Days Inn seemed to be a lower grade hotel but it was still a place to stay.

"Me and my girlfriend booked a jacuzzi room for the weekend, payed a fortune. There was no fridge in the room, very unprofessional receptionist being sarcastic when approached with a complaint, telling us we should have booked for a Sunday night instead! The so called complementary breakfast and coffee sucked! just eggs and potatoes, no sausage or bacon, btw have water instead of coffee, lol We got ripped off, just wanted to share the experience so that others won't."

"While the parking was not very convenient, our room was outstanding. The whole place was quaint, clean, and very well priced. The staff were some of the nicest people we've come across. A+"
