Stayed 18th - 20th June Location: Excellent Cleanliness: Borderline Pricing: Excellent I enquired at reception as to why the windows in my allocated room did not lock, the receptionist explained "the windows only open a very small amount as they are manufactured that way also Quality Hotel has a very higt tec security system that wound detect any person trying to enter room through the windows" On returning to my allocated room and further inspecting the windows I found the trim had been removed and two ugly screws had been inexpertly positioned to restrict opening, needless to say i took the receptionist statement"Quality Hotel has a very higt tec security system" as a load of tosh.

The Hotel is showing lots of wear, needs maintenance/painting and cleaning, no transportation to airport/cruise ships/ no complementary breakfast. Has nothing to offer and several blocks to restaurants/shopping. And overpriced $130.00 and up per night is high for an ordinary hotel. No view of the City, you either look at overpass bridge or alley and apartments.

Staff. Cleanliness of the entire hotel. Noise on the street facing side of the building.

My family stayed here for a week. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were clean. The pool was nice. The location is perfect. I would recommend The Quality Inn to anyone traveling to Vancouver.

Front desk clerks were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Location is great - a few minutes steps to the bus stops.

It is an old hotel consequently hallways, elevator, lobbys and rooms furniture are not very impressive. Online, I was able to book the four star hotel next to it at much cheaper rate. I did move to that hotel for the most part of my trip.

Good location, nice restaurant, very nice staff. Smell and awkward parking. Out of date decor (chairs, paint etc.) Basically worth while stop for the price and comfort.

The hotel is next to a highway so if you want a quiet room, ask for one that faces inwards. The downside is that there is no view in this direction, all you can see are residential buildings and a parking lot. There are also no close dining options nearby except a Tim Hortons and 7-eleven, but Yaletown restaurants and grocery stores are a short walk (10-15 minutes) away.

Good value for the money. Kind ofsleazy neighborhood. Staff was friendly and efficient, room was clean, decor so-so, neighborhood less than inviting after dark especially.

. . . the room was fine and clean, the bed firm, and the location convenient to quick exit back south to the United States. The dining room was lovely. The hotel had free topies of the Globe and Mail and the Financial Post. The key point -- check in. Vancouver is a very, very difficult (and tiring) town in which to drive during rush hour. One arriving at your hotel, the urge is to get in and get settled. They could do a better job.

Staff was excellent! Staff was excellent!!! Room was clean. The decor and furniture were somewhat outdated. Location of hotel was within waking distance to most attractions (Granville Island, GM Place, gas town, etc.) Definitely would recommend to anyone.

I had a wonderful experience at the Quality Hotel Downtown. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. It was my first time in Vancouver and they were able to tell me about all the sites to see and things to do. The hotel is located within walking distance to the main attractions. The room I stayed in was newly done, with brand new furniture. It was very comfortable, spacious and clean. I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would stay there again. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Location great, nice decor. One of the beds needs replacing. I would stay here again becaus eof proximity to downtown and Grandvile Island and 4th avenue. The second bed in room needs replacing badly though decor was nice.

Wine tasting in afternoon - 4:30-5:30. Cheap wines at tasting- very mediocre. Functional place- elevators seemed dated and apartment -like- just ok to be honest.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was nice. There was a flea infestation in my pillow.

Great location, helpful staff and comfortable beds. Quality Inn was a great place to stay. The access to all parts of the city was excellent, they had parking available, and the room was relatively quiet. In the room with two beds the beds were a little tight (full size), but they were very comfortable. Overall a great value!
