Close to downtown, shopping, university and everywhere. Very cheap but nice, friendly.

Good room and ambiance. They charged me for parking and a microwave. The hotel was good however they charged for microwave and parking.

1. The staff is not very friendly nor helpful. The hotel was extremely noisy late at night. The hotel was not able to control the noise or able to move me to a floor that was less noisy.2. The hotel is not very clean overall. My room was dusty.3. The hotel is located in downtown Ottawa, but the homeless & drug addicts are very prominent in this area as well. I was constantly approached for money.I do not recommend this hotel for women who are traveling alone or with small children.

I stayed 1 night for business. Nothing wrong with the room or the hotel. I liked the food in the attached bar. Fast internet. Movies on my TV didn't work though. Only negative comment was that I felt that it was a little overpriced for a midweek stay in my case.

Bare essentials only. Walking in and seeing a broken newspaper stand in the lobby and a dirty garage spoke volumes and set expectations at a lower but reasonable level.

The airport shuttle drops you at door 14/22 rtn. It's 15 minute walk from the Hill and minutes from Byward Market. Rooms are quite adequate although a little ""tired"". Firm bed, lots of hot water. Liquour and grocery store right across the street.

Location-good basic accomodation. The room was much smaller and no fridge-view of a wall.

The location, new to area, it was fun to walk around looking at different businesses. Did not like the fact that you only had the choice of a Don Cherry's restaurant, needs to be a more family oriented restaurant, limited menu. The hotel is very clean, my daughter found our room smelled like stale cigarette smoke was the room a smoking room at one time. My advice would be to change the restaurant to accommodate family the Don Cherry reminds me of a bar for party people, where I come from Don Cherry's are not popular very limited menu and expensive, this is just a thought, my opinion.

Location is very good. No gym, no pool and no full interior facilities. Good for people who are going to Ottawa for tourism purpose since it is very close to downtown with lots of restaurants. However, not a very clean and full facilitated hotel.

Free internet and the location. The parking attendant was not very nice, but I think the parking was privately owned. For themoney, this hotel was very good.

Good service for the staff. Bad condition for the hotel's room, too old, no refrigator and parking should be free for the guests. Must take the renovation for this hotel and make more appliance. The coffee maker need to change, it could not make hot water.

Very helpful and friendly staff. They kindly and gladly printed some documents for me for free at the front desk. Wireless internet was available. But, at night time, it seems to get crowded with many users. Very good. Excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

New carpet, curtains & bedding. Room smelled smoky; only 1 elevator working. The room size was as expected. The furnishings were nice, clean and comfortable. Free parking would have been a nice perk.

Great hotel, Rooms were nice, great location, excellent Wi-Fi connection, staff was friendly and extremely helpful and went beyond usual call of duty to be helpful. Parking was little tight.
