we were first sent to a 2nd floor's room like 1* hotel. After paid additional $40/night, moved to 9th floor room like 4* hotel. excellent location; 20 min walk to opera house, 10 min to downtown hyder park, 15 min to darling harbor attraction and chinatown dinning area

Have stayed here many times and think the hotel is good value, though had a room near the swimming pool this time & it was very noisy- avoid the lower floors.

Our room at The Quality Cambridge was very small. The bathroom needed work done to it. The neighborhood was a little rough especially at night. The tv did NOT have cable so we only got local channels. I was not impressed with these accomodations.

I returned for a further week and enjoyed my stay. I first stayed there two years ago and since then a refurbishment has brought about a massive improvement.

We had a spacious one bedroom unit. This hotel was quiet and comfortable. There is a supermarket just down the road and transport not too far.

The Quality Cambridge is in a great location in Sydney! Just take a shuttle from the airport - buy the roundtrip ticket for this. The service goes to all hotels in the area and it was $15 roundtrip. We did not need a car. The hotel is across the street from the police station, 2 1/2 blocks to the bus stop (which takes you anywhere)and shopping - take route 380 to Circular Quay and the ferries and Opera House. There is a small grocery store 2 blocks away. It is an easy walking distance(6 blocks)to Haymarket with lots of shopping and food - open Thursday to Sunday. We also walked to St. Mary's Cathedral and Darling Harbour although it was a bit of a hike. We had trouble adjusting the heat and since it was winter it was chilly. The staff was very friendly but over simplified the tourist attractions and their access. We needed to ask further questions beyond the info they gave us. There is a small pool and whirlpool in the lower level.

Only small rooms but modern, central location and very well priced with all the facilities I needed. Easy walk to Crown Street restaurants and Sydney CBD with a great Irish pub 100 metres away.

Very convenient location (within walking distance to the City or access to various public transport options). Very hospitable staff and great amenities (bar and restaurant, pool and gym). Will definitely consider staying here again should I need accommodation in the City.

Rooms were clean and spatious plus good little extras like toiletries, tea/coffee & milk. Bad things were the 'gym' is simply a couple of machines and the sauna wasn't working either. Reception wasn't that friendly or welcoming but once you've checked in they aren't really a factor anymore. Great location and quiet at night so would stay again.

I recently stayed 10 days at this hotel. The welcome from reception staff was very warm. This attitude continued right through my stay. The room was excellent and was serviced and cleaned thoroughly every day. It was 'sound proof' and was very quiet from other quests. I was most impressed with the security access to the lifts (requiring the room card to operate the lifts). The breakfast price was very good in comparison to other friends of mine who stayed elsewhere in Sydney. The location of the hotel could not have been better. It was close to the city centre and to the tram/rail network. It was certainly close to the airport. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone on a per perperson sharing, or family sharing basis.
