All Daily Room Rates are for 2 Persons unless otherwise mentioned. Extra Persons over 12 years using existing bedding are an Additional $20 per night. Children over 2 years up to 12 years using existing bedding are an Additional $10 per night. Infant Cots as required are an additional $10 per night. If Rollaway Beds are requested for guests of any age in addition to the Existing Bedding already provided in the room an additional $50 per night for each Rollaway Bed will apply.

Only public phone was outside the main bar in the dark, no phones in room and my Optus mobile didn't work.

We really enjoyed our time at the Tamar Valley Resort in Grindelwald. Our chalet had breathtaking views of the golf course, lake and surrounding areas and we found it to be peaceful and very self contained. Pricing was excellent and the pool and recreational facilities were lovely.

Found the place a little disappointing. Booked one of the lower end `chalets' which was a single room at rear of another that had a a view. Kitchen facilities seemed to imply a range of utensils which were not available. Staff quickly provided a couple of plates and utensils when asked. Overall, not a bad experience but just had expected a little better.

Service very good. Enjoyed the swimming pool and spa. Good BBQ's available. We stayed in the hotel part of the complex. Plenty of things to do. Especially for children.

Very disappointed they had a wedding on at their reception venue which was very noisy till late at night. My elderly parents could not shower as it was over the bath and difficult for them to step into. The curtains were hanging off the hooks and the net curtains were torn. No lamp in the second bedroom, the bedside lamps in the main bedroom had a warning note, not to touch as they get hot, should be wired into the wall and the wood was rotting in places. The towels were very thin and thread bare, all in all the worst place for the price I have ever stayed at. No welcome smile or hope you enjoyed your stay.

A long taxi ride from airport. Rent a car would have helped. Restaurant closed for Xmas party and no consideration for guests without transport. No pizza delivery available therefore no dinner for this guest. Very thoughtless and unprofessional.

The after hours answer machine needs to be looked at, the man's voice on the answer phone was talking way TO FAST and it took 12 attempts to finally get the information we required to find our way to the hotel and obtain a contact number. The hotel needs much more signage from Launceston to its turnoff. VERY HARD TO FIND at night and during the day !.If you hire a car and intend to stay at this hotel , make sure you get a GPS with the hire car. We drove around for 2.5 hour's looking for the resort !. The staff and the service was excellent to say the least !. We were told the hotel was only 15 minutes from the airport ?. The rooms and the chalets are loverly !!.We stayed in both !.

We have been in nice B&B and hotels in Tasmania before but this time it was a wonderful experience to discover this magical Suisse Village style resort just about 20 minutes from Launceston. Apart from the excellent service, Where else would you have ducks and black swans walking and swimming right outside your breakfast lounge? and all at a very reasonable price. Congratulations for your absolutely marvelous place.

Lovely location but access to the town is limited ($35 taxi only). Decor was quite original and not very exciting but clean enough. Restraunt was nice and its handy having the golf course, mini golf, tennis courts on your doorstep to past time. Very peaceful, safe and quiet location ideal for relaxing family holiday.

It's next to Swiss Village. We had the hide away chalet. Everything you need is there including washing machine, dryer and little thing like salt & pepper
