Very nice short stay at this hotel. I just wish that I had planned ahead better, because I thought it would be a 5 minute walk from the main railway station. In fact it was at least 20 minutes which on a rainy day with luggage was no fun. In fact, having checked in, I realised there is a local train from right next to the hotel to the main station (and the airport is on the same line). For one Euro, take the two minute train ride!

I don't think I would recommend this if you are going to Hamburg to see the tourist attractions. You are about three miles away from the major attractions and downtown area. If you are coming by train, you are about a mile from Hamburg Main Station. You are in the business area if you use this hotel which is why I recommend it for that. Not a bad place overall.
