They had clean big rooms. Showers were also clean! The only bad thing is that parking was full and we had to park on the street, but it all worked out as our windows were facing our car. Very close to where we needed to be so perfect location. In case you are hungry and want to quickly grab something there's a grocery store right across the street, very convient. I enjoyed my stay there would definintely come back. I saved $100 by staying here vs Holiday Inn and it was totally worth it.

A straightforward and pleasant hotel, good for the casual leisure traveler on a budget. The location is excellent and the staff is very friendly and willing to help. The rooms are plenty big enough, and the beds are comfortable. Highly recommended.

Carpet in room was dirty- had black globs stuck in it. Parking was a bit over priced and very difficult to get in and out if there were people coming in two directions.

The hotel is located in a central location of downtown Montreal. It is attached to a 24-hour diner and is near to a grocery store, Metro station, 24-hour internet cafe as well as several nice restaurants. The room was clean and had a coffee machine, TV and local calls were free. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and spoke fluent English. It was fairly bare-bones, as far as luxury is concerned, but a fantastic location.

This place was perfectly functional. The WiFi internet slowed down at night, and became pretty hard to use, but during the day it was fast enough. The housekeeping staff was a bit hit or miss, they took away extra towels one day even though we'd hung them up the way they said to in order to keep them. And they forgot to leave fresh shampoo or conditioner even though I was out. Nothing hugely a problem, just minor things. The location and parking garage for this hotel were perfect, though. It's only two blocks from a Metro station, and the parking was very secure. With a supermarket across the street, it was pretty much all we'd hoped for.

The room was nice, except that it smelled weird which made me feel like it was dirty. No perks, but quality place.

This no frills hotel was great - if all you want it for is sleeping. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, there was a desk, a couch, a mini fridge, TV. They don't have a pool or a gym. Location was important to us and the location is great. Walking distance to St. Laurent, St. Denis, Mont Royal, McGill Ghetto, the Mile End and Plateau neighborhoods. Not far from the Metro. I totally recommend it.

This hotel is located within reasonable walking distance of the historic and arts sections of the city, as well as Rue St. Denis and McGill University. Probably also Mont Royal park, although we didn't make that trek--next time!

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. I was unable to get indoor parking, which made it difficult to find a place to park my car nearby.

The hotel was good, however maybe just a little bit pricy for the star level and lack of facilities and good restaurant. We went across the street to Coras for breakfast because that was what was recommended to us.

This hotel was very nice to stay at. The rooms are nice and cozy and the staff is very friendly. The room was very clean as well. We had a flawless stay at this hotel. Location is great as well. And it is located right across from Cora's breakfast and lunch restaurant!

The Quality Hotel is great for business or leisure travel. The rooms are spacious and clean, as are the bathrooms, but the major draw of the hotel is its location. Montreal is a very walkalbe city, and this hotel is pretty centrally located--we didn't even have to take a cab once.

The Quality Inn Downtown has an exceptional location. It is within fifteen minutes' walk of the Place des Arts, Mount Royal Park, McGill University, Chinatown, and the downtown department stores. Within one block are two supermarkets, a pharmacy and a liquor store, for travelers who might like to replenish a few supplies. Although there are not many restaurants nearby, a short walk takes you to the trendy, moderately, priced restaurants of Prince Arthur Street. The room we were in had a small sofa, two chairs, and a table, which allowed us to invite friends in for a drink before going out. We also appreciated the free local phone service, so we could easily make reservations and call around for information. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and give detailed advice on the area.

Though it is not absolutely in center of downtown, this hotel is a quick walk there. A grocery store is conveniently located across the street and a few restaurants are nearby.

Generally I recommend this hotel to others because of its decent location, services and facilities. There is a supermarket on the opposite side of the hotel and the subway is only a block away. We were initially assigned a room which permits smoking. We requested a non smoking one and receptionist did not hesitate too long to give us one. The room was clean and large enough. I probably will complain that the parking fee and Internet connection fee were too high, but you may not always need them.
