try to avoid a basement room, the housekeeping staff use cupboards outside the windows and woke us up, also no plugs for sink or bath. that said, the staff were very good and the hotel extremely clean and friendly. lovely breakfast and overall good value for money.

Sizeable and super-clean, this hotel was well located for Paddington Station and Hyde Park. Easy to find and located on a quiet square in an agreeable quarter of parks and plenty of cafes, the hotel was a nice choice. However, the rooms vary greatly in size, breakfast is not available for all guests, and the staff was generally cold and unhelpful.

I usually stay at Hilton Paddington. This time they had problems with my booking as my secretary mixed up the dates so I had to go find myself accomodation. Quality Crown Hyde Park is just 4 minutes from Hilton Paddington and I got much better room for only ?130. It was quiet and clean and the staff were very friendly. I stayed in room 306 (I paid for standard, but they upgraded me to a four poster). I didn't try breakfast or use many facilities, but the check-out was pleasant. I will definitely come back.

The room we were given had been done up and was clean with a modern en-suite, and would have been comfortable had there been a snow blizzard outside. The room had no windows to the exterior of the hotel and no breeze was able to get in, The room was not air-conditioned and a pedestal fan was supplied. We could not have stayed without that fan. Although it was mid September the room was very hot (even for a Queenslander) and quite stuffy. It really was a shame because evrything else about the Hotel was fine, incluing its proximity to Paddington Train Station. But you are there for a comfortable room and it did not happen. This place may be OK in the mid of Winter, but steer clear any other time of the year.

It was quite easy to get to. Was told upon arrival that there was a problem with the triple room we had booked so we got a double room and a single room instead. the single room was absolutely tiny and the double room had no natural light or air coming into it at all. had to keep the fan on all night because the room was way too hot so could not have a full nights sleep at all. upon arrival noticed that there were cans of coke and chocolate and crisps in the room which we thought was a nice touch until we realised that that actually charge you for them, a much higher price than you could buy them for. Don't think it should be a 4 star hotel. Some of the staff were quite friendly but some were quite rude also.

unfortunately, basement room was adjacent to service entrance or air shaft, and noise was extreme until far late into the night. worse, though was lack of follow thru on wake up call each day, the second causing much stress catching homebound flight. nice hotel otherwise

This hotel was very comfortable and enjoyable, even with the small room. The staff were friendly and rooms were clean and the internet and tv in the rooms was a great extra feature. Best of all was the delightful breakfast included in the room rate.

This hotel was very clean, the staff accommodating. Location was convenient-right by Paddington Station! Only drawback-no air conditioning in rooms which is common. Great value! I would recommend this hotel and stay here again!

The hotel room was too small and was hot. The rooms need to be larger and air conditioned! We spent one night at this hotel and then went to a sister hotel which was very nice indeed. The room was large and air conditioned.

My single room was on the small side but it was clean and had everything I needed. The location of the hotel was good, quiet terrace only 2 minutes from 2 underground stations.

Hotel is in a great location close to train station, buses, restraunts etc. The rooms are clean and of good quality however the rooms are very small but I am told that all of London is the same.

One of our rooms (the single room) was very small but the other room (two singles) was reasonably sized. Overall a good value hotel - very handy for the Heathrow Express and Hyde Park.

The roooms weren't sound-proofed & when we experienced a lot of noise from a neighbour's television around 2pm the night manager was unhelpful & we considered him to be unprofessional. In the morning the receptionist was not particually friendly.
