An adjacent bathroom was very noisy in the early hours. Otherwise no complaints. Good position close to Paddington Station.

I called in advance about early check-in and was told there would be no problem. Upon arrival at 8:00 am, we had to wait and complain to the staff until I upgraded to another room that was available. Not one time did the desk acknowlege I had called to pay for an additional night and was told I did not need to do this.

The hotel is just around the corner from Paddington station and I had a pleasant stay. The room was quite spacious and being in the back of the hotel, it was really quiet at night. It's located in a square and not facing a main road, so it's probably the reason. The hotel website states you can access free wireless broadband connection, but I was informed of only the LAN connection which would cost you GBP 9.99 a day, however, you can get an access code for free wireless connection from reception, which I found out when I had to use internet in the lobby after check-out... Bummer, still, it was a good value for money overall. The hotel would be one of the candidates when I return to the area in the future.

I usually stay at Hilton Paddington. This time they had problems with my booking as my secretary mixed up the dates so I had to go find myself accomodation. Quality Crown Hyde Park is just 4 minutes from Hilton Paddington and I got much better room for only ?130. It was quiet and clean and the staff were very friendly. I stayed in room 306 (I paid for standard, but they upgraded me to a four poster). I didn't try breakfast or use many facilities, but the check-out was pleasant. I will definitely come back.

Crown LondonHard to find as no one had heard of the square. I was upgraded to four poster bed and the room was really clean.

The hotel was within easy walking distance to Paddington Station. We stayed in a room with three beds and we didn't think that the room was cramped, but we have been on cruise ships so we can adjust to smaller rooms. No need to worry about restaurants, there are some nearby including Mcdonald's and Burger King, and also kiosks in Paddington. One we enjoyed was Mimo's, a small Italian.

Room small but standard for London. Good price deals around for January. Very convenient as a couple of minutes to Paddington station and the Heathrow Express.

The room we were given had been done up and was clean with a modern en-suite, and would have been comfortable had there been a snow blizzard outside. The room had no windows to the exterior of the hotel and no breeze was able to get in, The room was not air-conditioned and a pedestal fan was supplied. We could not have stayed without that fan. Although it was mid September the room was very hot (even for a Queenslander) and quite stuffy. It really was a shame because evrything else about the Hotel was fine, incluing its proximity to Paddington Train Station. But you are there for a comfortable room and it did not happen. This place may be OK in the mid of Winter, but steer clear any other time of the year.

Great staff! I checked in early, got a big bed, and had no stairs to lug my case. IF only the maid serviced the room before midday, it would have been better. I am definately staying at this hotel again, as it is close to Paddington station, my drop mail address, and my dentist surgey that I plan to visit reqularly in the next 3 months.

"This hotel was very comfortable and enjoyable, even with the small room. The staff were friendly and rooms were clean and the internet and tv in the rooms was a great extra feature. Best of all was the delightful breakfast included in the room rate."

We had a noisy room

"This hotel was very clean, the staff accommodating. Location was convenient-right by Paddington Station! Only drawback-no air conditioning in rooms which is common. Great value! I would recommend this hotel and stay here again!"

small room but quiet location and very convenient for paddington station. Will stay here again

The hotel room was too small and was hot. The rooms need to be larger and air conditioned! We spent one night at this hotel and then went to a sister hotel which was very nice indeed. The room was large and air conditioned.

Clean but very basic. No room order available except for breakfast in the mornings. Club Room appeared to be a standard room with a four poster bed, which took up too much room. Not worth what we paid. The Quality Hotel near Paddington Station looked to be far superior.

"The location of this hotel is great, but don't plan to spend any time in your room...they were too small and cramped, even for 2 people! The staff was moderately helpful, but the elevator was broken 3 times in a week and there was no AC. We were told our room included breakfast, but did not once we arrived. We would have had to pay almost $20 a person for breakfast. It is close to Paddington and Hyde park, but I would look for something else for the price."

try to avoid a basement room, the housekeeping staff use cupboards outside the windows and woke us up, also no plugs for sink or bath. that said, the staff were very good and the hotel extremely clean and friendly. lovely breakfast and overall good value for money.

"When looking for a moderately priced hotel this one is a good value for the money. It was clean, quite & close to the tube stops. The staff was always curtious & helpful. Do not confuse with it's sister hotel, Quality Paddington, did NOT have good reviews. The size of the rooms {small by U.S. standards} was the only drawback...but o.k. because there was closet & cabnet .storage."

Hotel was lovely but rooms were a bit small for 3 people, staff were extremely friendly and helpfull.

It was quite easy to get to. Was told upon arrival that there was a problem with the triple room we had booked so we got a double room and a single room instead. the single room was absolutely tiny and the double room had no natural light or air coming into it at all. had to keep the fan on all night because the room was way too hot so could not have a full nights sleep at all. upon arrival noticed that there were cans of coke and chocolate and crisps in the room which we thought was a nice touch until we realised that that actually charge you for them, a much higher price than you could buy them for. Don't think it should be a 4 star hotel. Some of the staff were quite friendly but some were quite rude also.
