| No parking unless you want to pay 10€ a day (which is a bit of a cheek considering were paying guests), assuming it's not full, which he said it was, but I looked quite empty when I looked through the door !!. The Bloke on the reception actually seemed annoyed the we wanted to check in. The decor was grubby and dated, peeling paint, badly hung wallpaper, and wooden chair rails hanging off the wall. Booked a double room and got a room with 3 single beds (Really great for a honeymoon !!!). The beds were also as hard as concrete, and by the time we left I was aching all over. No balcony as advertised. Pool closed on 31st of August which was annoying as this is the reason we choose the hotel in the first place. Kept awake by the proximity of the train line, and the 2 police stations directly below our window, not to mention the drunks coming home in the early hours. Breakfast over priced at 10€ a day, and their idea of satellite TV is pitiful. And the rubbish truck comes round every night between 23.30 and 00.30. I have also been bitten quite badly, and suspect the bed has bugs of some description in it. Under no circumstances could this be considered a 3 star hotel, this is a 1 star hostel, and we were staying in the renovated part, god knows what the rest was like !!. The only good thing was the free WiFi internet access, so we could write this review. |

| The hotel is fine, for the price it is very good. Accomodations in the room are large room, french decoration, the Hotel is well maintained, simple elegant decoration, and they offer free or if they are too full 5.00 euros fee for parking, and 10.00 euros for person to have breakfast. Location is half way between Nice and Monaco. People at front desk are very very friendly and able to speak fluent English. |
