Excellent! Very Clean. Upper level rooms ending on 05 have view of Opera House. Disappointing breakfast buffet.

The Cambridge was a good value...I paid around * (US) per night, much less than other hotels around Sydney. However, it is not really in CBD area (considered Surrey Hills) but it is a short walk up Riley to Oxford and down to George Street to reach CBD area. The front desk personnel were helpful. My only gripe with this hotel is the quality of the water temperature in the shower. It was extremely difficult to regulate...either scalding hot or freezing cold. Showers each morning were just shy of torture! There were two elevators but only one was working (although it appeared they were working on fixing the other). Thus, wait time for the lift was often long. Overall, despite the negatives cited above, I would stay at the Cambridge again.

The common areas of the hotel are modern and look fantastic but then you get into the actual rooms they are very old looking and need to be updated.

Very convenient location (within walking distance to the City or access to various public transport options). Very hospitable staff and great amenities (bar and restaurant, pool and gym). Will definitely consider staying here again should I need accommodation in the City.

I recently stayed 10 days at this hotel. The welcome from reception staff was very warm. This attitude continued right through my stay. The room was excellent and was serviced and cleaned thoroughly every day. It was 'sound proof' and was very quiet from other quests. I was most impressed with the security access to the lifts (requiring the room card to operate the lifts). The breakfast price was very good in comparison to other friends of mine who stayed elsewhere in Sydney. The location of the hotel could not have been better. It was close to the city centre and to the tram/rail network. It was certainly close to the airport. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone on a per perperson sharing, or family sharing basis.

The fully refurbished rooms at the Cambridge are gorgeous, very spacious. Have stayed here a few times and love the location, the staff are extremely professional and helpful, and great facilities with onsite parking, restaurant, internet cafe, and bar.

I booked a twin express and was given a double as there were no other rooms available. The sofa bed had sheets that had been used still on it. There were no toiletries except for 2 small cakes of soap. The room is spacious with a separate bedroom from the lounge/sitting area however there is only one television which is in the lounge part. Overall the hotel was disappointing given its recent refurbishment.

Staff were friendly and obliging. Rooms were clean but rather old and showing it in some places. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ordinary and the food from the bain marie was barely warm.

Loved the deluxe room as we were able to open the door and step out onto the balcony for some fresh air. Room was nice and big too.

Nice to be able to open the door to the balcony and have some fresh air/We stayed on the 14th floor and found it slightly noisey but would highly recommend this hotel. My wife also enjoyed a cocktail at the bar and breakfast in the restaurant was enjoyable and well priced.

| Great hotel once inside. Only two points of interest that stood out.
1./ Windows Frams where showing a far amount of wear and tear
2./ Always something not avalible on the breakfast menu.
Will be back when possible |
