Location, and staff. Unfortunately we arrived on the 1 day a year that the boiler is inspected and it had been shut down for that purpose so no hot water for showers.

My daughter and I came from Enid Oklahoma to attend a WWE event at the Sprint Center. Not knowing where it was, I especially enjoyed the free shuttel that took us to the event and picked us up. I also enjoyed the free drinks and the people were just great. They made sure that we got whatever we needed. My daughter loved the free breakfast (she recommends the waffles). They also make one mean omlet. The bedding was super comfortable but the pillows were a little on the hard side. All in all, the next time we take a trip to Kansas City, we will be staying at this hotel. We've stayed at other hotels in Kansas City that cost a lot more and recieved A LOT less.

Located off a very busy street. The staff was very accommodating and the hotel offered a shuttle to and from anywhere in the downtown/plaza area.

I stayed at The Q last month and accidentally left a pair of Victoria Secret jeans, a jacket and belt in the closet of my room. When I got home and unpacked, I called The Q Hotel and Spa and told them what happened - expecting them to say they had my belongings and I would be able to retrieve them. Much to my dismay, they told me to call back and they'd check around. I called back several times and no one claimed to know anything. From management to housekeeping, I was never given an answer other than, "I'll check with so-and-so and get back with you," - which they never did. I realize these things happen, but it was the flippant, uncaring attitude of management that will cause me to stay anywhere BUT The Q whenever I'm in Kansas City. The true measure of a good business is how they treat you when a problem arises.

The staff was fantastically friendly. none The hotel appears to have ben re-done. The colors and look are great. The staff was very friendly and it was quiet.

This is a great hotel - one of the best I have been in lately and love the fact that it is green. We were there on a weekend when the entire hotel was booked and the staff was polite through the stay of a very rowdy football crowd. Our room while modestly appointed was great ---- they put the money were it counted - good quality bed and bedding, There also was a hi-def tv. Would stay there again.

Employees werevery helpful and friendly. Did not have any dislikes about this hotel. The hotel was close to area we wanted to visit and the staff was very accommodating. The shuttle service was excellent and had a very good breakfast selection. Room was clean and neat as was the bathroom. Since this was a green hotel, the air quality was very good.

Everything was great; staff, breakfast, location all excellent. The beds could have been a bit more comfortable for us but other than that we would highly recommend. We reallly want to thank the staff and front desk; they went out of their way to make sure everything was in order and comfortable. Haven't had that kind of treatment in a long time.

Stayed here for just one night (in town for a football game) -- but very pleased with the quality. Included free hospitality hour in the bar and a nice breakfast. Excellent location in the heart of Westport within walking distance to bars and restaurants, off-street free parking, comfortable rooms, good service.

Location was great! Walk to shops, great restaraunt andsecure parking. Our rooms were very small! The Quarterage is a classic hotel in the midst of Westport with secure parking, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Shop, eat and enjoy nearby museums, a great small-town feel, and Big-city getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Great location and free parking was nice. I know they say they are green, but lack in a few areas. They should have two garbage cans in the rooms. One for recyle (which they did, but then another for the things that are not recyclable materials, such as our left over food from take out. Coffee mugs instead of the paper cups for the coffee machine. Otherwise...excellent job. Breakfast was decent. I was under the assumption that manager reception meant the same kind of manager reception at the Embassy.....free drinks for a period of time. They gave us one drink coupon each and then you had to pay. A little pricey on the alcohol. Bartender was nice, managers and staff were all very friendly. We would stay at this hotel again. Nice rooms, shower ammentities were great and overall we had an excellent visit. Awesome restaurant up the street in walking distance called 180 go check it out. They have chips and dip to die for.

Excellent lactation. They offered shuttle services within 5 miles. Free drinks, it was nice. If you brought a guest back to the room you had to register them.

I stayed for a quick one night stay to see the Janet Jackson tour. The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to be helpful---they ran out of room on the shuttle so they gave me a personal ride to the Sprint Center. The free cocktail hour and breakfast saves you some money while travelling. The only negative thing I can say is my room was facing the parking lot so I could see car lights through the curtain and hear people in the lot---maybe install blinds. Other than that this place provides exceptional value and service for a stay in Kansas City.

A beautiful hotel, very clean, VERY comfortable bed. The complimentary evening cocktails and morning omelet bar were very welcome extras. And we were most impressed with the friendly and helpful staff, who went the extra mile in every way to make our stay pleasant.

Very clean, great towels!! The street in front of the hotel was very busy and difficult to enter. Outstanding, very fast registration, very clean and staff was sharp looking and very helpful. I would stay again and would recommend to anyone!!!

A friend mentioned this hotel so I decided to check it out. The obvious things are the coold decor and the fantastic staff. Everyone from the front desk people to the breakfast staff were very attentive and personable. The people working here and their service was tremendoud especially considering its pirce. The rooms were basically new with Hi-Def TV's and Aveda products in the bathroom. Breakfast includes an omelet bar and a managers reception was held each night. The hotel's free shuttle service took me to the Power and Light!The 'green' initiatives were also cool with lots of little things, like free use of hotel bicycles. I will be be back.
