Good points: The hotel has polite and very attentive employees in reception, good breakfast, and very good location. I stayed in front of the pool, beside the Nile River. Not so good points: The rooms need a "upgrade" and the service of bar at night is not good, because offer few options and sometimes does not have what you want.

The property of the hotel is actually quite big and very well kept up. If you are ok with eating at the hotel and it's restaurants during your entire visit, it is ok. Otherwise, it takes a little more effort to go back into town for additional eating options.

We enjoyed our stay at the Isis Island Resort. The room was clean and neat but the nightstands and furniture could do with some attention as they were almost falling off the wall or needing a bit of repair. The pricing of the food (especially on the room service menu) was a bit pricey and the quality of that food was not so great. The breakfast buffet was good and the food was good too.

Everyone at the Isis Corniche was very friendly and helpful for everything we wanted to do while in Aswan. We were not with a tour group, and the front desk guys were fantastic about helping us see and do what we had in mind while in Aswan, including organizing a trip to Abu Simbel, booking taxis for us, and letting us know where to get the best deals. The hotel is very conveniently located; the rooms are on the Nile side of the Cornish; our room was closest to the street and a bit noisy (Aswan goes to bed around 3 am) but those closer to the water and on the pool side were quieter. Having a pool was a great plus and the garden-like setting of the entire complex was relaxing and lovely. The only downside of our stay there was the floors- dirty and there seemed no great effort to sweep or mop them when the room was cleaned. Overall, however, we were very pleased with the Isis Cornishe.

This hotel is located on the Nile corniche, very nice view of the river. Staff is friendly and helpful. The pool area is very nice, clean water, well maintained, comfy lounge chairs, towel service & bar. The room is a bit of a letdown, old mattresses, walls haven't been painted in years, thin sheets, but the pool, which is essential in this heat, makes up for it. There is a full bath with tub & plenty of hot water, not that you need a hot shower! The tour service arranged by the hotel is only so-so, they overcrowded the minibus a bit & didn't want to turn on the A/C. Overall it's a good place to stay.

This hotel is starting to show its age, but still a nice stay overall. Although the ferry was constantly running, it still got to be a bit of a pain to get on and off the island.

Prime location. Only hotel to border directly the Nile river. Fabulous views while dining or relaxing. Main building recently completely renovated.

This hotel is in an excellent location on an island in the Nile, with its own free boat for transport to shore. The hotel is large, clean, with plenty of facilities. The only problem with the hotel is the food. The quality of the poolside Italian restaurant is very poor, and the pricing of the a-la-carte restaurant in the main building is ridiculous. Stick to the buffet restaurant and don't expect too much.
