This is a fantastic hotel, although a little out of the way for most travellers. Not recommended for families or elderly (as you have to descend a number of steps to get to the rooms). Highly recommended for couples who enjoy the quiet and serenity and are able to speak Bahasa (as not all the hotel workers can speak English). The location and facilities means that honey mooners wouldn't stay here. It was perfect for myself and my partner who like to unwind in calm tranquil isolated location after a busy day sightseeing. We'll definitely stay again.

The rooms are great. The bathroom is big and wonderful. The view over the gorges is absolutely superb and the staff is very friendly. They are working at improving the facilities (the garden area and the access road to the hotel). But they also need to improve the 2 swimming-pools cleanliness and make a more substantial 'American breakfast'. This place has a great potential. Keep it small and friendly!

We like our room very much. It is big and clean. The hotel is okay except only half of it is usable the other half of the area is in bad state and needs renovation. It really is too bad because the area is excellent, best view in Ubud.

a lovely remote resort overlooking some padi fields and the misty river. But it's quite a way from Ubud ( walking will take at least 45 mins).... The resto was closed when I was there ( only opens when for the busy season )... The staff were superbly friendly but you plenty much on your own since the guests were located quite far away from the building that housed the staff...
