The location perfect, restful and quiet but I prefer to know before the conditions of beach, I appreciate the aware of the people about the sea, but tell us know before getting the vacations package, just to make plans. And I think the prices for the SPA services are too expensive, more than a good spa in US.

Adult only. Charge to use fitness center. This resort is a holistic resort. I didn't notice too many patrons using the resort in that manner. It was nice to have adults only without kids running around and screaming. If you want to relax by the pool all day in a quiet environment, this is the place for you.

My wife and I had a great time at the hotel. The purpose of our visit was to relax and the hotel was perfect for that. The staff is exceptional and the place is immaculate. The atmosphere in the hotel is tranquil like a great spa. We were approached twice about time shares, but I have to say these were the least obnoxious sales pitches I have experienced. It was clear they had been instructed not to hound the guests. Food and drinks were pricey, but in line with what you would expect at a high end resort. The location is 15 minutes from town where all the restaurants are. This was the only real drawback to the hotel and at the same time it's one reason the place is so tranquil. You can't swin or wade in the ocean here. It is very rough and also pretty cold. This is a very well maintained hotel and I can't say enough about how great the staff is. One other note about Cabo in general: It is an arid climate, not tropical.

The lobby had a wonderful aromatherapy quality. The rooms were simple but well appointed. The entire complex was great. The restaurant meals were tasty, but room service was not as great. The beach was lovely to look at but no getting in the water on the Pacific side. The hotel was adults only which was a great break for me since I work with children on a daily basis. I would definetly return. The only downside was the hard sell at the airport and in the hotel lobby upon arrival, but the $300.00 certificate for spa services made the timeshare spiel worth it.

It's an adults only, non-smoking resort which makes for a perfect getaway destination for two. The poolside restaurant, was one of the best we've ever had which made up for the disappointing fine dining restaurant. My husband and I just returned from a 5 night stay at the Pacifica, and in a single word, it was heavenly. We are expecting our first child in July and wanted to find a quiet, relaxing resort to enjoy each other's company. We are in our mid-thirties and were among the younger guests, most of whom were couples as well. Although the beach is non-swimming, the pool area was a serene place to spend our mornings and afternoons - with the exception of having to endure a couple of PDA (public displays of affection) sightings. The only sounds you hear are the crashing of the waves in the Pacific, the water running off of the edge of the infinity pool and the occasional in distinctive conversation from the other guests. The staff at Pacifica is very amenable and kind. We especially enjoyed the hospitality and geniality of the staff at the Activities Center, where at no additional cost, you can enjoy free activities (ping pong tournament, beach walks, blackjack, etc.) and classes (cooking, Mexican wine, towel folding, etc.).

Wow - could not have been better, excellent service, ask for pool concierge Herme to give you all the great tips about the hotel and and surrounding area. Hotel was immaculate, and they thought of every little detail of personal service! Great rooms with views, fabulous pools and excellent spa. Dont miss the couples massage on the beach, pricey but worth every penny. Dinner on the beach was also outstanding, food was top notch 5 star quality. Hotel was close to full, but you would never know it, very quite and peaceful and the most relaxing trip we have every been on. We're going back every year.

Hands down...this is the most relaxing and tranquil resort I have ever stayed at. The staff is top notch and are there for your every need with a smile. It was nice to be able to order alcoholic beverages at a pool minus all the alcoholics! You are far from all the "spring break like" action but thanks to Pueblo Bonito's free shuttle service between their sister hotels you can get into town with ease and return when you are ready for some peace. For those looking for some special treatment the spa is comparable to some of the best I have seen. I cannot recommend this resort enough to couples who are looking for a relaxing break.

Remote and rugged location. Given remote location, extremely limited food choices. This hotel was new when we visited for the first time. Very relaxing and definitely the exclusive Spa vibe. This has eroded somewhat. Due to the location you are a captive audience to a large degree. It's expensive for the quality and only 1 actual indoor restaurant. The sushi bar was a welcome addition. It's turned into basically an overpriced hotel and can't seem to make up it's mind what it wants to be, consequently it's neither.

If you don't mind being a little isolated then the Pacifica is an awesome place to be. Peaceful! You can't swim in the ocean (way too rough) but the pools are very nice. Fish tacos and a cold one by the pool makes for a very nice lunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms although not very big are nicely appointed with excellent linens. You can take a free shuttle to the sister property (Sunset) up the hill every 1/2 hour. It has more pools, restaurants and energy but also allows children so the zen vibe is missing. Would recommend it for families. If you want to go to town you can take shuttle to the Rose from the Sunset (schedule varies and you must reserve) or hop a cab for about $10.

Had a great stay! Amazing price for last minute booking. The rooms were clean and well maintained as are the grounds. The staff make an effort to remember your name and room number. Prices for food are very reasonable for a resort. There were only 3 things that we didn't like. 1. They don't allow ouside food or drink. They will take it away from you if they see it. 2. They charge to use the Fitness Center. 3. The televisions make an annoying whining sound. I asked to have the TV swiched out but they said it was the connection not the set, nothing they could do about it. Would stay there again, would recommend if you're looking for a quiet vacation.

The 16+ policy, and zen-like ambiance. Size of bathroom. Very relaxing, adult-oriented retreat. Was pleased to see thatall services and restaurants were up and running even though it was Christmas day.

Wonderful, romantic and peaceful. The best of Cabo. We'd go bak in a minute. The only moment I would skip would be the "timeshare" pitch for their sister property. We didn't go, but on arrival you are directed to their marketing spokeswoman. With only a long weeked in Cabo, not the sort of thing I wanted to do. But in all fairness everyone tries to sell you a timeshare.

The resort was very clean. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The lobby was beautifully designed. Very relaxing and quite place. Great for a spiritual getaway. Great spa services. Fun activities for adults. No children allowed.

Everywhere made me feel like I was at a spa. Nothing. If you want to have a luxurious hotel experience, look no further. I have stayed at luxury resorts all over the world, an this beat out every Four Seasons I have stayed in. Long private beaches, world music, and a perfect pool make this hotel the place to relax, revitalize and rejoice.

My wife and I spent a week in January 2009. This is a great place for a honeymoon or other romantic celebration. Children are not allowed. A word for those of you who regularly visit Baja; you cannot swim in the Pacific at this hotel. We also visit Loreto regularly. Go there or another Sea of Cortez spot if you want salt water swimming. Having said that, the 2 pools and the spa (it is huge!) at this hotel are excellent! The shuttle to town is free and very effective. You have access to the three other Pueblo Bonito facilities in Cabo. The restaurants are very good: Siempre at Pacifica and La Frida at Sunset are outstanding!

This is a wonderful hotel - the staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. The free shuttle into town from the other Pueblo Bonito property just up the hill made this a perfect location, as well, since you could enjoy the tranquility of Pacifica yet be at the swimming beach or exploring shops and restaurants in just a few short minutes.

Beautiful rooms, common areas, and landscaping. Loved the pools. They charge you for every little thing. Even coffee. Internet slow. Very beautiful rooms, common areas, and landscaping. Loved the pools and hot tub. The balconies are stable and present pretty views. It was a shame you couldn't get in the ocean on their beach. The staff was friendly and helpful with advice about places to go. The down side is that they charge you for every little thing. Even room coffee. Bottled water and everthing else in your room is expensive and they charge a 15% restocking fee. Good thing the tap water was safe to drink, as they have a good purification system. Room service was very reasonable. It was the same as going to the restaurant. Internet connections in the rooms were way too slow. I didn't care for the bombardment of time share (i.e. free breakfast) in the lobby as soon as you check in. Over all, a nice relaxing stay.

completely relaxing from the moment you get to the front door. It is like walking into a spa. One of the prettiest beaches in Cabo. Very quiet , except for the waves crashing on the shore. The grounds are clean and not overdone. No loud music playing. Rooms are comfortable and simply beautiful. Of course they want you to see the property next door to look at the timeshares. If you are interested in touring the Sunset Hotel and Montecristo homes, it may be worth your time because they offer hundreds of dollars in spa and food credits for the Pacifica Resort. This will make your stay more affordable. If you like to go to town, ( short drive) then rent a car at the airport. Then you can explore more of Cabo, go to town for different restaurants ( grocery store in town is great for snacks and bottled water). And, if you want to drive to a swimmable beach, drive along the coast to Playa Santa Maria or Chileno Bay. We will absolutely return to the hotel. The staff was warm and attentive. Great Vacation !

Our stay was enjoyable! However you will need a car to leave the hotel. The fees for everything were a little annoying! The staff were helful and courteous.

The location was remote and beautiful. The food was outstanding. If you are looking for a relaxing time in a remote luxury resort with impeccable service, this is the place. The menus list a variety of delicious options with Mexican cuisine influence. You can take advantage of the fun planned activities, the spa, or lounge on the beach or by the pool. The pool service is excellent.
