We walked on the beach, we swam, we ate, we drank, we danced and we were conquered. The facilities were excellent, the staff was personable, very courteous and knowledgeable. The food overall was quite good. We met some people whom we enjoyed. The guitarist, [...], was excellent and he sang beautifully, in both English and Spanish. We had small problems with both the coffee maker and toaster; they were both replaced within 20 minutes of my calls. We have been to Ixtapa and Puerto Vallarta previously. This was the best resort of the three and the beds were very comfortable. Our only negative: Prices for the recently opened spa services were incredibly high. We thought about getting a 'couples massage' but the prices were four times what we pay here at home.

Has the flavor of Mexico. The bedrooms are wonderful. I would have liked an inexpensive breakfast to dine. It is on the bus line and gives you the flavor of Mexico especially in the lobby and bedrooms. The 1 bedroom with a living room and kitchen had 2 wonderful bathrooms. I would recommend this hotel for any kind of travel.

We just returned from an amazing weeks stay in Mazatlan at this fabulous resort. It was amazingly clean, food was great, service was the best and we were travelling with our children 14 and 11. The kids loved the resort also. It is the best and we hope to return next year.

First off let me start by saying this was one of the most memorable trips our family has ever taken! This facility is absolutaly AMAZING! We have two kids, one 13, one 8. I spent many hours researching a fun, safe place I could take the family on vacation. We've been to Orlando, Vegas, all over the Gulf Coast and this was the BEST place of them all! Not one time did we feel like us or the kids were unsafe, in fact we would let the kids run down to the pool in the mornings while my wife and I drank coffee on the balcony! The staff at the entrance keeps track of every vehicle(including taxis) that enter their property and there are security guards everywhere, even on the beach in front of the resort 24 hrs a day. The staff was far superoir to ANY of the staff located at the fanciest of American resorts. These wonderful ladies and gentlemen would go far above and beyond the call of duty to ensure you have everything you need! We upgraded to a Master Suite for the extra bathroom which was nice! The pools are beautiful but we prefered the smaller one cause it was much quiter and less busy. The rooms were very nice and the view was gorgous! I could go on and on about how great this place is. I was most impressed with how friendly the entire staff was, especially with the kids. Not one time did anyone act annoyed because they were playing and having a good time. After talking with many different people I know for sure if you want somewhere to take the WHOLE family in Mazatlan, this is the place! NEVER SAW A SINGLE BUG ANYWHERE NEAR OUR ROOM!!!!!

We loved this resort! Everything was just as described. Dining was great and the staff was super. The 2 pools are both great. Mazatlan is a very friendly city and easy to get around in. The only thing that we did not appreciate was the "time-share" push at the hotel by the staff. We were ambushed when we checked in and were told that our room wasn't ready and then again when we were eating dinner on the property later in the week. They also left messages on our room phone. They just couldn't take NO for an answer. Otherwise we loved the hotel and would consider going back!

Beautiful property. Staff was professional and service was great.Food was very good. The daily, breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of variety. The beach was very quiet.Romantic.I've been to Mexico tons, this resort and staff were the best.I don't know who is in charge, but the people are trained well, and actually enjoy making your stay pleasant.Great stay for couples/romance.Avoid if looking to party,or singles looking to mingle.

This is a beautiful, gorgeous and renovated hotel. This is the most comfortable bed in any hotel I have ever stayed; they sleep you on feather beds. The concierge staff could be better. They tend to direct you to the very touristy locations even when you ask for otherwise. Our other family members had the executive suite which was the best-they had 3 patios next to the ocean and swim pool.

Pueblo Bonito Mazatlan is a wonderful resort right on the ocean. It has a beautiful safe beach with plenty of lounges. Staff at the resort are very friendly and helpful. We've stayed here multiple times before and it has always been GREAT. There is are nice kitchens and maid service everyday. All rooms face the ocean. The resort has activities you can choose to partricipate in. There are two onsite restaurants. Cilantros is one of our favorites in all of Mazatlan... It is a romantic setting, right on the beach with a thatched roof! Food is great and priced reasonably... down the beach is a restaurant called Tony's on the beach.. this one is also high on our list. Definitely a place to stay.

My lady and I were very mucn in need of peace and serenity, and Pueblo Bonito more than fit the bill. The staff was excellent, and there were all kinds of places to go and things to do close by. We are already planing our return trip for next year and would think of staying no placae else other thatn Pueblo Bonito. Thank you for the week of rejuvenation and relaxation.

My husband and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary here, 10-17-08. The weather was great, in the 90's and very humid but beautiful. The beach here is perfect - You can go out about 100 yards and still be just above your waist, just right to jump the 4-5 foot waves. The ocean was warmer than the pool. There are lots of lounge chairs around 2 large pools with staff coming around to ask if you would like anything to eat/drink. The Baja fish tacos were delish! I just wish we could've stayed longer

Pueblo Bonita is located on a wonderful strech of sand beach across from several islands. Great pools, poolside food service (and beachside food service is good. Located in new Mazaltan is a quick 10-15 minute cab ride to the historic city center.

The Pueblo Bonita Emerald Bay proved to be a terrific place to visit during the week of April 27-May 3. The room (a suite with a comfortable bedroom, a large sitting room/breakfast room, two baths and a balcony) was, if anything, more than we needed, at a price that would have been reasonable if we'd only had the bedroom and bath. The grounds are very pretty. The pool complex was very large, with a separate -- and apparently very quiet --adults only pool. The staff was consistently polite and very helpful. The food at the main restaurant was good, and the deli was a perfectly good place to order lunch or a light breakfast. Prices for prepared food were very reasonable. The weather was excellent; no rain or wind, with temperatures in the 80s during the day and comfortable for shorts and short sleeves in the evening. I didn't find the town of Mazatlan all that exciting, although we did have very nice (and surprisingly inexpensive) meals at Los Zerapes in the hotel area and Pedro & Lola's on the central square. Service at both of those restaurants was particularly good. We played golf at Estrella Del Mar. The course itself was a very nice resort course, well maintained and quite pretty. We reserved sets of clubs when we made our reservation to play; however, when we got to the course (at about 9:30), we were told that no complete sets were available. We ended up with rather mixed sets (a few irons from one set, a few more from another), which wasn't all that much of a problem. Estrella is a long way from Emerald Bay, but the trip and round made for a fun day, and we got back to Emerald Bay in time to hit the pool. Overall, I would certainly go back to Emerald Bay.

We were at this hotel in February before Spring Break, and enjoyed a quiet, relaxing and romantic week. The rooms were cleaned daily, if you had a Do Not Disturb sign out they called later in the day asking when and if you would like your room cleaned. All the staff from maids, front desk, activity coordinators to the wait staff at all three restaurants were excellent. The pool waiters were very attentive and made sure you had what you needed but not pushy. The location was excellent, very clean beach-raked daily, crashing waves outside your room. We had a great view of the ocean and the grounds complete with flamingos. We would certainly stay there again.

We have stayed at this resort many times and are never disappointed. The rooms are comfortable and everything is spotless. There are two pools..one with activities and one for quieter lounging. The sandy and swimable beach is a few steps down from the pools. All rooms have a small kitchen and the hotel has a well-stocked deli. There is also a small supermarket across the street. The 3 hotel restaurants are all good and there are many other restaurants nearby. The bus to the central area stops right in front of the hotel. Best of all the entire staff will do everything they can to make your stay perfect.

We have stayed @ other Pueblo Bonito resorts that have had more to offer in regards to restaurants, fitness center, resort sponsered activities. Overall it was a pleasant stay. We would of liked a balcony in our room with an outside grill. We had to pay for a VCR, seems to me for the price of the room this should be included.

We stayed for 8 nights, we had a blast. Not knowing, our first on line booking a vacation turn out to be a wonderful experience. The staff and the hotel were top notch. The rooms were very beautiful and clean. There were plenty of activites to do at the resort and the resort offered to set up day trips as well. What I loved most was that you could do a day trip and still have time to relax at the beach or pool. Dinner could be eaten at the resort itself or you could walk to several resturants. I hope to return and would highly recommend this resort.
