This was definitely the best deal in Provincetown. A great place to stay, comfy and friendly, and just a short walk (1 mile) from the very center of town. Also great beachfront-views, a private section of the beach, and a stone path across the water. Other reviews that down this hotel are completely unfounded, at least in our experience.

Location. The size of the beds they are double not queen. Great location, but the rooms where a little on the older side and the beds didn't sleep two people.

Everything except the location stinks at this hotel. The waterfront rooms are expensive, small, dank and poorly furnished. The lobby and common areas are depressing, the pool area plays loud blaring music incesantly, and it is apparent that ownership has never put any money back into the property. I would stay there again only under svere protest.

You really need to go in with the right attitude to enjoy this place. It needs a remodel VERY badly, call it quaint bordering on rustic. The location is amazing, the views are awesome, the staff is friendly and helpful, the included (continental) breakfast included the usual fare along with cooked (not instant) oatmeal. On the other hand the room was on the small side and very dated and worn. The beds were adequate, but only adequate, and there are only 2 WiFi hotspots on the property, no internet option available in-room. The room was as clean as can be expected. Being directly on the beach, sand is a given... Would I stay there again? Probably, though it is priced fairly high for what it is.

Location. Seasonal lounge closed. Great location and views with outdated rooms. Friendly staff.

This hotel is not as it appears online, I wouldn't even put my luggage on the bed upon check-in. The room smelled of urine and looked as though it had last been updated in the 1940's. I immediately checked out and found a different place not far away but I'm still fighting for a full refund. THIS HOTEL DOES NOT PLAY NICE!!!

The Provincetown Inn is a very friendly and comfortable hotel. The rooms are spacious with large baths, and with private patios either facing an outdoor pool or the beach. Very large windows in the rooms let in a lot of natural light, and a very spacious closet gives room for hanging and folding a lot of clothes. The rooms are two-person rooms, equipped with queen-size beds and other furniture. The Inn has a beautiful lounge with public wi-fi and a beautiful dinning room with included continental breakfast. Its location is fantastic, right on the end of commercial street -- on the beach and only a few blocks from all of the Provincetown shops and restaurants.

The Provincetown Inn is discusting and should be knocked over with a recking ball. Rooms are extremley outdated. It seems like your in a horror movie. Don't waste you money there are plenty of nice places to stay. We ended up argueing for our money back.

The owners of the Sandbars Inn are undoubtly two of the nicest people I have ever encountered. If you and your loved one, or even if you are by yourself, and you are looking for somewhere to get away and never have to leave your room.....this is definitely the place for you. Rooms have every you need, right down to the silverware. The rates are very fair considering all you get. The beach is 100 feet from your room, and is private, only a few people walking by every now and then.

Value for price. Cleanliness of room left much to be desired. The Provincetown Inn provided a room at a reasonable cost, and offered such things as a swimming pool, daily complimentary breakfast, and a bar / restaurant within the Inn. The level of cleanliness within the room however, could have been better, but overall I'd say to give the P-town inn a try.

My stay at the Provincetown Inn was horrible and I cut my trip short as a result. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and hard. The shower was so small and there was no place to put shampoo, soap etc. I was also unable to sleep due to the loud teenagers who were staying in the hotel. The walls are so thin that you hear everything which left me unable to sleep. I guess I got what I paid for. On one positive note, the location is great! Beautiful Commercial Street is just a short walk away which helped make up for our lack of everything else.

We liked the location and the nice warm feel. There was nothing we didn't like. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very nice hotel. Should we stay in Provincetown again, we would stay again.
