An ideal place to stay if you want to be in the middle of the city within walking distance of the River Danube and many of the city's best tourist attractions. A really good 3* hotel. (AHJ 0608) An attractive historical building that is six storeys tall and has a mixture of large square and arched shape windows. As central as you could wish to be in Budapest, the promenade hotel is situated right on the Vaci Utca, the main pedestrianised tourist street in the city. Guests can walk out of the hotel and have a huge choice of shops, restaurants and bars to choose from as well a one minute walk to the Danube river. It is also close to the subway and trams stations.

Dining:
There is no restaurant in the hotel although the promenade is surrounded by good cafes and restaurants. On the top floor there is a medium size breakfast room.
