Have avery good experiece loved the lacation and the hotel was perfect i would definatly go back. The only thing that i thik will make 110% will be to have a very well trained staff at front desk that will have a answer for any kind of question... and to never use the phrase `` I don`t know Iam here for the summer only``.This trip was the best i had ever in all my year coming to OC...

Typically when we visit Ocean City; we stayed at this hotel and enjoy the location and proximity to the beach. The outdoor parking garage is extremely nice, can park the car and not have to worry about it. The staff is very helpful; though on this green hotel "thing" and stingy on towels (requested that guests use theirs multiple times), toliet paper limited, and room lights were replaced with low voltage bulbs so needed to turn on all the lights to see anything. The room is always very clean, the kitchen is always functional and a nice change from resturants. Very quiet, until the tourements began that weekend. However, do not leave anything behind, called the front desk immedately after requesting to even pay to have it shipped back to my home state...the desk was very rude hanging up twice without getting my information and not being helpful on having the item returned.

We went for my 30th birthday. Enjoyed all of local spots. We had a great and pleasant stay. However, the only complaint I have is about the food. We ordered room service before we went out and it was terrible. No big deal though, there are many great restaraunts in the area.

We arrived pre-check in time and were pleasantly surprised an upgraded room was ready. We paid for the upgrade and check in. The room was pleasant, comfortable and clean. The check in staff (front desk manager) was accomodating to our request for an upgrade, however, was not pleasant or friendly. Although we arrived the day of a tropical storm and our room leaked water, we were offered another room with the same view, however, no guarantee that we wouldn't have to put trash baskets to catch water. We paid a price for the upgrade, but no monetary conselation was offered because another room (with no guarantee) was not offered. We were told housekeeping would come up and empyt our waterfilled waste baskets and maintain the water problem with extra towels, however, after a maintenance dept. employee inspected the problem, no other employees came to our room. Housekeeping did not empty the waste baskets, nor provide extra towels to absorb with water. We wanted to spend the day on the beach the day of our check out, but because an amenity room was not available to store our luggage and provide a changing area, we were not able to do so. We traveled by car and didn't want to spend 4 hours in our car all sandy and unrefreshed from a day at the beach - the hotel did not provide a changing room where we could clean up and change before our road trip, so we checked out in time and left, not spending our day as planned. Most hotels, from our experience, do provide alternate accomodations for customers that need a place to freshen up or store their luggage if leaving the facility after their check out time (11am). The hotel could use fresh paint in the rooms and hallways, a good cleaning or hallway and room carpets. Other than that, it was acceptable.

The Princess Royale in Ocean City is at the top of my return list. It's convenient, right on the beach, has all the amenities and the staff is very friendly. My friend, who had never been there before, was so impressed (she said I had picked a winner). The rooms are lovely and spacious. My only negative comment would be they really need to replace the carpeting in the halls (perhaps with the tile they have in the beautiful reception area). (The elevators could be revamped too). But aside from that, it is always a pleasureable visit! One of these days I'd love an oceanfront room (maybe in the off-season). It's something to shoot for!

Tried to checked-in around 2PM, and was told that there is a power outage, and the lighting and elevators were down as a result. It certainly is not the fault of the hotel that the electric company isn't supplying power. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, checked-in anyway, got the room key, and headed out to get lunch and drive around the town. We came back around 4:30, and was told that the power is up, but only one elevator was working. Upon going up and inspecting the room, this room still had no electricity. I found a maintenance worker on the floor, and he said they are still having problems with areas of the hotel; to go back to the front desk and get another room. So we did that, and was assigned another room off-of the pool area. The problem with this room: NO AC. Ocean City in July without AC- not really acceptable! The blower worked, but the air streaming from the AC unit was warm, as was the room. By this time, we had all of our bags up in this room. I went down to the front desk, and inquired about the status of the AC, and was told that there is no AC anywhere in the building: they don't know when it will be up and running. Why didn't they tell us this? I can't even get a breeze in the room because we're located off the pool, in the enclosed atrium area. So she offers an ocean-front room at no extra cost. I'm figuring OK, they'll get the AC working eventually, and we can open the sliders and get a nice breeze off the ocean, and the view would be a great bonus. So they send somebody up to help move our bags to this new room, and much to our chagrin, the ocean-front room was really an ocean view room, that really had no view of the ocean, but a great view of the side-street and adjacent buildings. So much for that cool ocean breeze. By this time, I'm really disgusted, so I went down to the front desk, and told them we have to go elsewhere; that no AC with a great view of the pavement isn't acceptable. We checked-out, went to another ocean-front hotel.

The Princess Royale Hotel was a pleasant surprise. The suite was very clean and delightful. There is new, attractive furniture and flat screen TV, and although the decor is outdated, the bed was super comfortable. The overall experience - restaurant food, pool, beach, friendly and helpful staff, was excellent. I would definetly stay again. A great value for what was offered at the hotel.

The staff was not sociable. The dining experience was horrible in the hotel. The room and pool were beautiful.

The Princess Royale was very nice. Not really what I expected. But I found it refreshing to have a nice hotel with a pool, room service, beach front access, and a bar/restuarant right at the ocean. The room was very nice and pretty clean. We did find a light bulb on the sink they forgot to throw away and a ciggerette butt at the edge of the chair, but the sheets were very clean and white. No dust or dirt was visable anywhere except the bathroom mirror(no biggie with me having a 2 year old). Although the staff wasn't all to friendly as they pushed pass us to get on the elevator at the end of the day and didn't know how to smile(or speak english). But other than two or three minor things everything was great, and in a world like today who sweats the minor things! When we go back from now on we'll stay only at the Princess Royale.

I loved every single minute at this location and in this hotel I would come back in a heart beat!!!! The size of the suite we were in was fabulous for 4 girls. Bathroom size was perfect, living room was very comfortable and the beds were absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!

The Princess Royale was spacious, earth friendly (electicity turned off when you left the room), right on the beach. It was nice to have a full size fridge, microwave and stove. The bedroom was big as was the living room and the bathroom was nice size and well lit. My room overlooked the large indoor pool, but the view was marred by video games. It wasn't noisy while I was there, but I'm sure it could get a little loud. The location wasn't within walking distance of the boardwalk which has its pluses and minuses. If you want to stroll on the boardwalk you have to drive there. There were stores and restaurants within walking distance. Parking was free and covered. Overall it's a nice place to stay. The downside was the room could have been cleaner and the furniture was getting worn in the living room. There were marks on the end table that should have been cleaned and sand on the chair - all in all not bad, but I don't expect to have sand on my clothes from the room.

What appears once to have been a very beautiful hotel now seems to be challenged in its service efforts. We checked in to find no sheets or pillows for our childrens' bed; we had to call 2x to get them. We had to call 3x to get toilet paper over the course of 2 days. Luggage carts can only be used if you also agree to use a bellboy. Sadly, we cannot recommend this hotel.

THis was once probably a wonderful resort type hotel on 91st street in Ocean City Maryland. It has an indoor pool but you could really see the wear and tear that this hotel has been through. Still it is a wonderful FAMILY oriented hotel on the beach and it seemed that most everyone there was having a blast.

Princess Royale is a very beautiful Hotel, and the staff was very accomodating. The room was really nice and very spacious, however, we were very disappointed that the view from our suite was of other accommodations across the street and a restaurant. We were looking forward to having an ocean view. Overall, we did enjoy our stay at Pricness Royale.

very happy ..with staff.rooms good. the only negatives of stay was I was expecting a nice view of ocean, NOT ... had to upgrade to get what I wanted. extra $50 a night.the over view made it seem like a ocean view side, looking at the ocean just from the side with good view of ocean, but looking at condos next door and if you look real hard you could see a tree and piece of the ocean. very unhappy with that.the only other thing was to buy movies.. you had to watch them in the living area.. couldn't watch on tv in bedroom !over all was happy once we moved.only stayed a three days.. to me was alittle over priced. enjoyed stay !
