great location fantastic sea viewslovley location fantastic sea views . manager very helpfull !!! food was very good [only had brekfast]room was a good size[room15] although did back on to railway line ????very good value for money will stay again thank you ,and hope to see you soon!!!!

Cheap but don't expect cheerful. We enjoyed our stay in Paignton, but this was purely down to location rather than the accommodation which was basic. The rooms were clean and tidy though old fashioned in style. We didn’t get a sea view, we got the railway embankment instead. If you plan to stay here, be punctual at breakfast or you may find yourself relying on the goodwill of the waiters/ waitresses to serve you breakfast after the cut off point which for us was 9.10am. While I’m on the subject of breakfasts we were denied a table with a sea view because these tables had already been reserved beforehand which was disappointing. My stay would have been much improved if some of the staff had been less surly and some of the crustiness on some of the cereal bowls had been removed prior to placing them out for breakfast. I also requested a celebratory cocktail, but mixing up a pina colada proved to be an alien concept to bar staff.

shockingthis has to be the owrst hotel i have ever stayed at, the beds had hair all over them same as the shower there was a massive hole in the floor covered with a bin. the staff was very rude, which we expected due to a large group of lads but after talking to another older couple they agreed with the way they was treating some of there customers. The breakfast was alful. This has to be the worst hotel ever!

We stayed here while visiting family and it was an ideal location. a stones throw from the beach and a quiet location 5 - 10 minutes walk from the center of paignton. With ample car parking!!!

the hotel has nice rooms at the front of the hotel with sea views but the rooms at the back of the hotel look out on to a alleyway and a railway line so we were charged a total of a 144 pounds to look and listen to a railway line it was a total rip off
