Hotel is one of the older ones in Ixtapa but we had fun, food was okay, all inclusive only one kind of beer on tab, mix drinks watered down. Entertainment was good. Rooms nice except showers are designed for short people. Nice beach front 7 personnel were good, except they tried to sell a time share which was a wasted time.

The staff were excellant. They were always kind and very helpful. The food was either very good or very bad. I personally did not like the way the venues kept switching. The beach was closed the entire time we were there. The location is very good right in the middle of Ixtapa. The air conditioning did not work very well. The atmosphere of the resort itself was relaxing. The building are in need of some urgent upkeep.

Excellent food and drinks. The floor tile grout was very dirty. Nice pool and beautiful sunsets. However, the room left much to be desired.

There was 4 couples that stayed at the Presidente Hotel from 1/22/09 to 1/29/09 and we had a wonderful time. All staff was wonderful, they were all friendly and helpful. This was a clean resort as the staff was always sweeping, cleaning the pool, and sweeping all the sand up cleaning everything else all the time through the day. The food was good also. There was many choices from Italian, French, mexican and traditional buffet food. They have many different events going on everynight for entertainment and during the day they kept you busy if you wanted to join in. The rooms were also clean and everyday we had flowers on our pillows. Yes they need some work but what hotel doesn't even in the United States. I would definitely stay here again as we enjoyed ourselves very much and you couldn't ask for a better vacation.

The Presidente InterContinental was a great place if your looking to sit by the pool and the beach, to Drink and have some fun. The rooms were clean and the staff was first class. Always someone around to take care of your every need. I really enjoyed the pool, they had 2 there on site, one for kids and the other was was for adults and was called the QUITE POOL. Read the signs, and if your Drinking and lying at the quite one, and it's not quite, all I had to do is tell someone on there staff and they took care of the problem. I did this about 3 times during my trip and then staff corrected the problem ASAP. Some people just have problems reading signs and at this pool this is posted in 3 locations. I enjoy kids but there is a huge pool at the other end they can enjoy also. This pool was great for my friends and I.

I feel I did not get my moneys worth, Food & Restaurant selection was not good at all - only good thing was the beach & pool... Very overpriced- Too Many pushy sales people-- Watch out they call it "THE CLUB"

We attended a family wedding, that was excellent, but that was the only good thing. Staff very rude, never willing to accomodate us, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner, never able to sit us together,or willing to please the guest, always had to call and more than once to have our drinks or coffee refilled. Rooms in dire need of renovation and/or general clean, housekeeper great work with what she has to use as far as tools for her job. Will not recommend nor return to this hotel.

We were leaving a mediocre resort looking for someplace really nice to spend our last 2 nights. We have stayed at other Presidente Intercontinentals and were hoping for something cleaner, classier, and well, frankly, special. The rooms were small, beds uncomfortable, pool small and shallow, food bland, and staff listless. I can't really come up with something BAD but nothing was remarkable in any way. For the price, I am sure we could have found something better.

It'a a nice hotel, the rooms are ok, even though it's true that the bathrooms are a bit old. It's not "5 star" accomodation but it's decent, clean and comfortable enough. The food is also ok but the variety not huge and the quality nothing special. All the staff was friendly, the overall hotel installation is very nice, nice swimming pool and nice beach. If I had not gone to the Dreams Puerto Vallarta last year I think I would had appreciated even more (the Dreams is much more expensive though). My kids loved it as a first real hotel experience.

Have been all over Mexico. This is the pitts. They advertise 6 restaurants, they don't say only 1 restaurant is open daily! The food was cold, same food everyday. While there, it rained no activities! Nothing to do! Won't go back

After reading so many negative reviews on this hotel I was thrilled to find a picture perfect holiday spot. The rooms are very clean, the maid service was great. Yes, they could use a little update, but for us not bad. The food was delicious, a little boring on the evening buffet but tasty none the less. The staff is awesome! Friendly, helpful, and did everything in their power to make our stay pleasant. The bar staff kept our drink glasses full, no matter where we were sitting, and believe me the drinks are not watered down! For * dollars US you could have food and drinks delivered to your room anytime night or day. I could go on and on, but you get the point.

"The rooms need serious, quality renovation. The tile flooring looked horrible - all fixtures - lighting & bath, looked very old and dirty. There were no in-room safes. The food was very mediocre - the only restaurant that was good was the one meal we had ay La Terazza.. I would not recommend this hotel."

"Did not have all the resturants to choose from, the pool was VERY DIRTY, this should be a family ONLY resort as they stay and eat free, pool smelled bad, watched 2 woman change baby's diapers in pool and wash them in pool. Place smelled bad not clean."

This hotel had a wonderful location and was close to all of the town. The staff went out of their way to make our family welcome. The beach was the most awesome.

"We are Platinum Members and stay with Holiday inn whenever we can. We have stayed at this hotel 24+ times and love most everything about it! They could do with a few more ""perks"" for returning guests but the food and staff are exellent! We will be back for a surprise ttrip for my wife's birthday November 18! I can't wait! Ian Booth"

The staff was very freindly and helpful. The food was very good, especially the Suishi/Martini Bar and French restaurant. The room was garden view and was not the best. Good value though.

Food is below average and very repetitive. Rooms need updating. Pool and beach are great. Can be noisey.
